High End Makeup Worth Spending Your Money On!

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will notice that I love using High Street/Drugstore makeup but every now and again I love to splash out on certain products that I love and here I will show you the products that I love to splash out on.

This is the most expensive foundation that I own and there is many reasons why I love it so much. My favourite foundations usually give me a matte look and this foundation does just that. It keeps me looking matte all day and doesn't wear away in places like the nose or chin during the day. If you like full coverage then this foundation would be perfect for you. When I wear this foundation I only need a very small amount of concealer on certain areas because of the coverage. What I also love about this foundation is that it comes in so many different shades making it easy for everyone to find their perfect shade.

When I think of setting sprays this one is the first one that comes to mind. This has been my holy grail setting spray since I tried it about 3 years ago! I dont use this product everyday but I do use it when im going out of an evening, it keeps my makeup staying on my face all night (not literally). Another thing I love about this product is that once I have sprayed it it dries very quickly add doesn't make my face look dewy which I dont like personally for me.

For a palette that doesn't have any shimmer in it I use it a lot. I dont always use this product on its own but I do mix it in with other palettes daily. The formula of any Urban Decay makeup is perfect, it goes on like a dream and blends out perfectly. I use this palette mainly for a crease colour because of the nice browny nude shades. When applying these shades there is little to no fall out and they stay on the lids all day without moving or creasing.

I have only really had a few MAC lipsticks but have loved all of them and this lipstick is my favourite out of all of them. Firstly they have beautiful colours and it goes on the lips really smoothly. The is a cream Lipstick so it does come off if your eating and drinking but the creamy formula pays off for that. This lipstick comes in so many different colours and different finishes like matte, satin and cream. What I also love about this lipstick is that if you didn't wear a lip liner the lipstick wouldn't bleed onto the skin which I find happens a lot with other lipsticks.

I know that is a really big price tag for a eyeliner but hear me out. When I first tried this out I was sold straight away. It doesn't have the formal foam tip applicator that most liquid eyeliners do, it has a brush tip which is more flexible making it easier to do a cat eye or other eyeliner looks, it also doesn't dry out as quick as other liners do because of its brush tip. This liner dries down matte and stays on all day! I have found it difficult before to find a liner that doesn't wear away during the day but this mascara stays on even if you was to wipe your eyes.

Last but not least, This highlighter is one of my favourites that I have in my collection. It has such a nice pigmentation and pays off really nicely onto the skin to give it that real glow. What I like about this highlighter is that it is very buildable, you can add as much highlighter as you want and it still looks good. It also doesnt settle into the texture of your face so it goes on smoothly. This is also a multi use product because it can also be used as eyeshadow.

It takes am amazing product for me to spend a good amount of money on it because I love a good bargain! These products I wouldn't mind spending that much for them because they are so good. What High End Makeup can you not live without?

  1. This has to be one of the first posts I've read where I own every product mentioned, they are so worth the money. I have purchased so many of the Urban Decay all nighter setting sprays, they are the best!

  3. Your blog is so pretty! I am not to much on high end makeup either. Not cause I don't love it. I just can't afford it as easliy as a $8 bottle of makeup. Plus theres so many to choose from. I go in Ulta and spend a whole 5 hours trying on different products.

  4. I've never bought any of these products! I've sampled Double Wear a few times but it is way too dry for my skin but I've always wanted to love it. I've nearly bought the Naked 2 Basics many times though! I love matte eye shadow and prefer cool tones so I'm not sure why I've never bought it! x

    1. The foundation is quite matte and I don’t think it would be too good for people with dry skin and the Naked Basics palette is something I use daily! Couldn’t live without it x
