Recently I have had a small blogging break because I went away for a few days and when I arrived home I was happy to find that I received my 6th Birchbox which means that I am finally a VIP member! This means that I get 15% off instead of 10% (which I need with my spending habits!) With becoming a VIP subscriber of Birchbox I also was gifted a really cute holographic makeup bag. This month Birchbox teamed up with Etsy for 10 different designs for their boxes with each one being a representation of their creativity and products. The box I received was designed by Lucy Says I Do if your getting married or just love weddings I would definitely check her shop out.

Rituals Happy Buddha Foaming Shower Gel RRP £8.50

All the way black in March I received my first birchbox and I also got the Rituals Sakura Foaming Shower Gel which I absolutely loved and used up the product pretty quickly, then when I received this months box I was very happy to see that they have sent a different scent of this product. This shower gel is infused with sweet orange and cedar wood to give it its fresh scent but to also soften and rejuvenate the skin. As soon as I received this shower foam I used it straight away and I'm struggling to know when a scent is my favourite. It's an amazing product and a little goes a really long way so I'm going to try and keep this product going for a long as I can. What I love most about this product is the way it leaves my skin feeling after using it, some Shower foams dry out my skin but not this product, it's amazing formula keeps my skin feeling extra smooth and hydrated all day.

My favourite type of skincare is masks and I love trying out all different mask types. This mask is a little bit different because it's an overnight mask, which means you apply a thin layer before bed, sleep and then wake up with refreshed skin! The consistency of this mask feels like more of a thick moisturiser than a mask which I actually really like about the product. I've only tried this mask once and I've been really enjoying how it's made my skin feel and will definitely be using it more. Through the night is when our skin cells turnover making it the best time to add masks that help rehydrate and smooth the skin which I think this mask does perfectly. Another great point about this mask is that it's vegan, cruelty-free and 98% natural making it great for everyone's skin type, especially sensitive skins.

When I first saw this product I actually thought it was a highlighter, the colour is an iridescent rose gold pink colour which I actually think could look really nice as a highlighter as well. I actually really enjoy using eyeshadow crayons especially when your in a rush because it's the quickest way to apply a really nice eye look and I also think this product would be perfect for anyone travelling. What's great about this product is that you don't need a load of different eyeshadow brushes to blend you only really need your fingers and it's really that easy. The way I used this product is that I used it as an eyeshadow base and primer which it actually worked really well at doing, it helped keep my eyeshadow on all day without creasing which I hate! I think I would definitely use this product more! This is probably one of my favourite products that I received in this months box.

This is the one product in this box that I haven't been able to try yet as it isn't a product that I would usually use in my hair so I will probably be giving this product away. This is a sugar texturising spray which gives your hair beach waves (my hair is so curing that it would never have nice beach waves). This product would be perfect for someone that has naturally straight hair that needs a bit of a lift. This product contains sugar cane and flexible styling aids to leave your hair feeling soft and shiny but it will also help you to give your hair some extra texture. I think I'll be giving this product to my friend to try out to see how this it helps her straight hair.

I was very intrigued about this product when I saw this in the box, it's a powder that turns into a liquid when you apply it to the lips (I'm really not sure how it works but it looks so good) it's a very weird consistency as it applies wet and dries matte in seconds but also is a powder. This product is very different but it is really just a lip and cheek stain. The colour I received is Blushing Peach which is a coral orange colour but dries to more of a deep orange colour. I've tried out this product on my lips but haven't tried it on my cheeks yet, the colour isn't something that I would usually wear but it is actually a very pretty colour it wears if your have got minimal makeup on and just want a natural makeup look. I haven't heard much about this brand before (that's why I love birchbox, it introduces you to new brands) but I think it is a Korean brand, they always come up with the most interesting products.

Pin For Later...

The last 6 months of having birchbox have gone really quick and now I'm a VIP member with extra money off full-size options (what else could you want). Have you tried any of these products before?

  4. Okay so firstly, I love the way you structure this post - it looks great and is real organised! Secondly, that eyeshadow crayon looks so good, I'm also a fan of eyeshadow crayons for a quick look, and even after reading your explanation I can't understand how the melting lip powder would work?! I'm so intrigued!
