Since we are now fully into Autumn with leaves falling off the trees and the temperature dropping I thought I would do my first Autumnal post of the year with the Perfect Lip Products to get you through the colder months.
In this guide, I have put together 4 different lip product types with my two of my favourites from them to show you the ones I usually reach for during Autumn (There might be a colour pattern with these)

Lipstick

To start of this post I have gone with the trusty lipstick that can be worn all year round, I have picked two different lipsticks that I always reach for. One of these lipsticks I've had for a while and the other is a new edition to my collection.

Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick - Fig Delight

This isn't a usual colour for me as it's slightly on the brown side but after I used it for the first time its actually a really flattering colour, that I think would suit all different skin types. The Colour of this lipstick is a sort of deep chocolaty brown shade but has a slightly mauvy ting to make it the perfect autumnal shade. The formula of this lipstick is also another reason why I added it to this list, it applies to the lips with full coverage really easily, You only really need one swipe for the lips to be fully covered. This is a very comfortable lipstick to wear which is pretty long lasting for a non-matte lipstick.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Colour - Ruby

Now I'm not a red lipstick fan, I just don't think it really suits me but this lipstick colour is just to die for, It's a deep red but not too deep. To get the colour that I like you do need to apply it a few times. When I got this lipstick in my #GAMEFACE box I thought that it would be the perfect colour for autumn. The shade of red is perfect for an everyday look but can also be for an evening out. The formula of this lipstick is actually my favourite, it applies more like a balm and is really comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Lip Gloss

Lip Glosses can be tricky in the autumn because of the wind and your hair sticking to your lips! But they are just the cutest to wear and look great on everybody. I tend to wear these products on an Autumn night out.

Glamglow Plumprageous Metalic Lip Plumper Treatment - Suggestive

This lipgloss is not just any old lip gloss, this product also doubles up as a lip plumper! This lipgloss works really well at giving your lips an extra boost with the colour and with the plumping effect. The colour of this lipgloss is a metallic deep maroon colour which is perfect for the fall. I find the colour really looks great with the earthy brown eyeshadow tones that people start wearing during the autumn. If your looking for a really effective lip gloss and plumper this is the product for you, this does give off a slight tingly effect but it isn't too uncomfortable and goes away after a while. This product gives the lips a really lovely shine and isn't too sticky.

L'Oreal Infallible LipGloss - 110 I Got The Power

These L'Oreal lip glosses have always been a favourite of mine, the formula is just my favourite out of all my other lip glosses because of its formula. The formula on these lip glosses is so good because they are the least sticky lip glosses that I have, this product feels more like a lip oil than a gloss. The colour of this lip gloss is really an all-rounder as well, being a nude shade it goes with any outfit and can be applied over any other darker more autumnal colour to add a bit of shine.

Lip Crayons

Lip Crayons have always been a favourite product of mine as they are so easy to use and wear. They are the most comfortable lip product to wear and are really hydrating for the lips

Revlon Matte Balm - Firey

I've had this product for a while and always start using it again during the autumnal months. The deep shade of red is perfect for this time of year as its the right shade of red to look vibrant but still deep to look almost vampy. The formula of this product is my favourite part, it's a creamy matte formula which doesn't dry the lips out. This lip crayon actually makes the lips feel really soft and look really smooth. This lip crayon is also very long lasting and stays on all day even through all this wind.

MUA Power Pout Intensive Tint & Balm - Crazy In Love

This is basically the opposite product to the Revlon lip crayon as its more or a blam consistency. This lip balm is a really great product and one of the cheapest product on my list for only £3.49! The colour of this lip crayon is a really pretty pinky red shade which looks gorgeous on any skin tones. It applies like a dream and once the shine has worn away you are left with a really pretty pinky tint to the lips. This product is perfect for autumn because its so hydrating and protects your lips from the cold weather.

Liquid Lipsticks

Since Liquid Lipstick became really popular a few years ago, They have been one of my favourite lip products to use to give you that long-lasting matte look.

Gerard Cosmetics Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipstick - Cher

This liquid lipstick is probably my all year round favourite but because of its deep mauvy tone its perfect for autumn. With this product, I usually wear it during the evening or if I'm going out because of its deeper tone, the colour of this product I think actually goes with everything and all the warmer autumnal tones. For a lot of different liquid lipsticks, they can be very drying for this lips but this product is the total opposite, it dies down pretty quickly but doesn't crack or dry out the lips which are needed in this windy weather.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - San Paulo

This product is a bit different from the other liquid lipstick products that I have because it doesn't completely dry down and still stays matte. This product was actually one of the first liquid lipsticks that I tried out and has become one of my top favourites. The colour firstly is a very vibrant pink which looks so gorgeous this time of year. This shade looks really gorgeous with all the gold and coppery shades that I used more in autumn. The formula of this product is also really great as it keeps your lips feeling extra soft and smooth and doesn't leave your lips looking dry and cracked.

  3. The Revlon matte balms are my absolute FAVOURITE! Sultry is my go to shade all year round and the colour goes with pretty much any look and any skin tone, I bloody adore it! I've only recently tried a Bobbi Brown lipstick and I adore the formula. This shade is one I definitely need to pick up, though!

  6. Fig Delight looks and sounds amazinggggg, I love a brown lip. I have a love hate relationship with red lipstick, it is great when you find the perfect shade of red though!I am not a fan of lip glosses though however, but if I was to wear one, it has gotta be a lip plumper! I have never tried a lip crayon before but the one from MUA for £3.49 sounds fab, great price too. Yes you saved the best until the end, liquid lipsticks are bloody amazing. The soft matte lip from Nyx are a fave!!! xx http://lifeofshar.co.uk/
