my favourite revolution products

At the beginning of the year, I went through all of my makeup and did a whole post about it which you can find here and while doing this I discovered a whole collection of products that I love and realised that the majority of them came from Revolution. In this post, I will be sharing with you all of my Revolution Favourites!
This concealer has been a favourite of mine since I got it all the way back in April. I have probably repurchased this product around 5 times since then. This concealer works like a dream and works just as well, maybe even better than my more expensive concealers. I use this product for all different uses, I obviously conceal my imperfections with it (that's the nice way of saying stops and redness), I also use this for undereye concealing and contouring. The shade range of this concealer is amazing (along with the other products from Revolution) and you should be able to find your right shade, having all of these shades also helps you to create the perfect contour and highlight. I use this concealer every day, either when I'm wearing foundation or when I've just got powder over the top, if you're wanting a good coverage concealer then I would definitely recommend this one!

I know another concealer but I had to add this one because since I got it a few weeks ago (you can read my review post here) I have been hooked ever since. At first, I wasn't too sure about it because it reminded me of the lipstick concealers that we all used to smother ourselves in but I was wrong. This concealer really is amazing and has is great quality for it only being £3. What I really like about this concealer is the coverage, it covers up all the redness and dark lines but it doesn't cake up the skin because it is on the thicker side. The stick form actually turns out to be really handy with this concealer, it helps to make the application really quick and it blends out so quickly. As the concealer is already matte it doesn't dry down which gives you more time to blend it out to get your desired look. I've also been using this concealer every day and it doesn't look like you've used any so this product will last you ages!

Another product from the Matte Base range is being featured on this post because I think that this product was actually my for my skin. From the products that I've tried so far from the matte base collection, I have been so impressed especially with this foundation. This foundation is described as matte but I would say that it doesn't give you that flat and cakey look because it does still let through a bit of a glow. I have been using this foundation a lot since my original review that you can find here, I have been testing it out a lot and trying out different primers and have found the perfect match. The porefessional primer works wonders with this foundation especially on my nose at keeping it matte all day. I only actually use the primer on my nose and I don't really wear a primer for the rest of my face because of how well the foundation sits on the skin. For the price of only £5, you can't really go wrong!

revolution eye products flatlay

I think the saying is that the eyes are the windows to the soul but I really think its the brows. The one makeup item that I cannot live without is brow products and its something that I actually find it hard to find because my brows are pretty dark. This brow pomade comes in a really great selection of shades and they have one dark enough for my black eyebrows. Before using this product I was using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow which I still love but can't afford to pay those prices every time and I would say that this pomade is just as good as the dip brow and for more than half the price. This product isn't too drying which means that you can get a really sharp brow look. This pomade is also pretty waxy which is a good thing because it keeps my unruly brows in place all day.

Focus & Fix Eye Shadow Primer

I discovered this eyeshadow primer a while back when I had run out of my Urban Decay Primer Potion and thought I would test it out. I wasn't expecting miracles because of how much I loved the Primer Potion but I was so happy with how well it turned out. I have used this primer so many times and it works just as well as my more expensive primers. I use this primer a lot, especially when I'm wearing vibrant eyeshadow as this primer helps the colour to cling onto the skin and gives the colour extra pigmentation. For the price of this primer, it is amazing quality and I think everybody should try it.

Redemption Iconic 3 Palette

As you can see from the photo that I have really loved this palette, I have been using it for years and it is my go palette that always looks good with any makeup look that I'm going for. This palette is a complete dupe for the Naked 3 palette that I actually sold my Naked palette because I didn't use it as much as this one. All of the shades in this palette are so pretty and work together so well with the pinky and coppery shades. The formula of this palette is also amazing for the price, the shades all blend together really nicely and you can make so many different looks from it and this is the palette that I'll be taking it away on holiday with me!

  3. It's always so good when a cheaper dupe is better than an expensive original! That eyeshadow palette looks fabulous, with some very wearable colours. I still don't own anything by this brand so maybe that would be a good one to start with :)

  4. I’ve heard so many great things about the Conceal & Define Concealer - still have yet to get it as I’m waiting till I just about finish the concealer I have - but it’s definitely on my list of makeup to buy. I personally prefer a dewy look than Matte but the Matte Concealer + Foundation sound amazing especially for such a nice price!

I’ve been looking for a new primer to use - I’ll have to check Focus & Fix Eye Shadow out! One thing I like about Revolution is how affordable their products are!

  9. I’ve heard so much about Revolution but I’ve never actually tried them myself. I was looking to though as they’re cruelty free! I always want to try new foundations and concealers particularly so I’d definitely give the ones you’ve mentioned here a go, especially as they’re not too expensive.
