product empties

I realised while having a look through all of my posts that I haven't actually done a empties post in a while so I thought this would be the perfect time to do one. For me, it's actually hard to get finish a product because I like to try new things but I've been able to collect a few products from the start of the year to share with you for this post.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner - Eastend Snob

I have probably collected around 10 of these lip liners over my years of being obsessed with makeup and I still haven't found a better inexpensive lip liner out there. The colour of this lip liner is the perfect nudey pink shade which literally works under any pink lipsticks. I liked to also wear this lip liner on its own and then apply a clear lip gloss over the top to create my own lip shade. What I loved most about this lip liner is that its a twist up liner instead of a pencil which makes it so much easier to apply to the lips. The formula of this lip liner as well is also amazing, the product is a lot waxier and creamy compared to a normal lip liner which usually I find can dry out pretty quickly and can become hard to apply to the lips. The only small complaint that I have about this liner is that there isn't really enough product in the liner and I run out of product a lot quicker than a normal pencil lip liner.

Will I be repurchasing?
I will definitely be repurchasing this liner again as I've really been missing it since it ran out.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask

This product is a sample which I got way back in September in my GameFace Beauty Box which I got for my birthday and I'm actually very surprised that this little sample lasted so long. This mask has probably been one of my favourite products to come out of a beauty box. Whenever I was having a typically dry skin day I used this mask and in the morning I would wake up with amazingly soft skin. A small amount of this product really goes a long way so I think that's why I got such great use out of this small sample. Even though this mask is slightly more expensive than I like to spend on face masks I really think it's worth it because of how much use you can get out of it. I usually have oily skin but this product still works for me and I think this would be an amazing product for anybody with dry skin.

Will I be repurchasing?
Even though it's going to hurt my bank balance when I do, I'm definitely going to be repurchasing this mask!

Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Primer

If you have been reading my blog for a while you would have definitely seen me mention this primer a few times like in my Easy Christmas Day Makeup look and  Primers & Foundations Perfect For Oily skin. This has been a product that I've had for years on and off and have always gone back to it because of how much I love using this primer. My skin can be very oily so if there's anything that helps to tone down the oil I'm all for it and this primer does just that. This product is a little bit different than other pore filling primers because it doesn't have that silicony feel to it that others do which I actually enjoy. When I use this primer it actually feels more like a moisturiser than a primer and it leaves my skin looking extra smooth and flawless.

Will I be repurchasing?
At the time of me writing this post, I actually have another one of these primers on the way!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Sensitive skin

Over the years I have used so many of these micellar waters because they are one of the best that I've tried and it is such a reasonable price. The one that I've run out of is the mini sensitive version that I actually use for when I go away as its such a handy size. I always usually have one of the smaller versions of the micellar water at home just for occasions like if I'm going away for the weekend or on holiday or if I'm just out for the night. The size is so handy and under 100ml making it perfect for travelling with just hand luggage. The micellar water itself is such a great product for quick but still effective cleansing. I usually use this micellar water on days where I haven't worn makeup, I do this just to refresh and clean my skin before moisturising.

Will I be repurchasing?
At the moment I still have my full-sized version for combination skin so I'm going to hold off until I have the right occasion to buy it for.

Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss Perfume

I have a whole collection of the different versions of the Loverdoes perfumes because I have to say that they are one of my favourites! This version of the loverdoes was my favourite for a long time that I actually finished a whole perfume which never happens because I have so many (does anyone else's nan get them perfume sets from Christmas?). The scent of this perfume is slightly more sexy and musky than my other perfumes, it also has a slight fruity scent which is from the added apple and blackcurrant. This is a perfume that I would wear more during the summer because of its uplifting scent but because it has deeper notes to it it can also be worn through to winter making it a great all-around product.

Will I be repurchasing?
As I still have two of the Loserdoes Tattoo's on the go I think I'm going to wait until either my birthday or Christmas and add it to my lists!

  5. I love empties! It's been forever since I did one too. It's so hard to finish things when you constantly have lots of products in rotation. I've heard amazing things about the Origins masks but I've still never tried them x

  10. I need to get my hands on some Garnier Micellar Water ASAP! I have sensitive skin so over-washing actually irritates my skin and dries it out even more, this seems like a lovely alternative since I 97% of the time don't wear makeup! Going to also check out the Rimmel London lip liners to, I want a backup plan to the pencil liners lol!
