5 Under £5: Liquid Eyeliner Flatlay

I am finally putting out another post in my 5 Under £5 series and this time I'm going to be sharing with you all of my favourite liquid eyeliners under £5. This was actually harder than I thought it would be as most of my eyeliners were just over the £5 mark and I tried so hard to stay within budget. Carry on reading to see which affordable eyeliners I would recommend to all of you!

This is a liner that I've actually used for quite a few years, this was one of those products that I actually saw a beauty YouTuber talk about a few years ago and picked one up straight away. I have probably repurchased this liner around 4 or 5 times over the years as the only issue I have with it is that it dries out slightly quicker than my other liners in my collection. Other than that issue this liner is perfect for anybody who loves to do a cat eyeliner. This liner has a felt tip and it's slightly longer than my other liners but its also very flexible which makes it a whole lot easier to manoeuvre around the eye and create a slick liner. I have tried this liner in the waterproof version but for some reason, that seems to stay tacky on the eyes so I always go for the original as it dries down instantly. The very fine tip also helps with it being super easy to create dramatic liner look and I also find it really easy to create really thin eyeliner and a small cat-eye.

This was the liner that I had to search up a few times and each time I looked it was coming up with different prices. On the Superdrug website, this liner is listed at £5.99 but on Amazon, it's on sale so I thought I had to add it to this list. I got this liner when I was going through my wearing a cat-eye everyday phase and I went through liquid eyeliners so quickly. I really like this liner because it has lasted absolutely ages without drying out which is great. For a pretty thin felt tip liner, you can create some really dramatic liner looks with this product or you can always go for a thin natural liner look all with just this product. This liner doesn't claim to be long-wearing but this liner really does wear pretty long on the eyes without smudging or wearing away during the day and hours later it still looks like it was freshly done.

5 Under £5: Liquid Eyeliner - Revolution

Revolution Renaissance Eyeliner - £5.00

If you read my lastest post, September Makeup Favourites then you will definitely know why this liner had to be added onto this list. This is probably the liner that I've had for this least amount of time in my collection but it is very quickly becoming one of my favourites. This liner is slightly different from the others in this post because it is slightly smaller and shorter in the felt tip applicator which I actually find slightly easier to get a really detailed liner look. Whenever I use this liner I know I'm for a good makeup day because I've been using this liner for a few weeks now and I haven't totally messed up mu liner and I'm giving all the credit to the eyeliner on this one. All together I've only been using this liner for around 3 weeks and it's still going strong and hasn't started to dry out yet! The liquid liner product is a really dark black (hope that makes sense) with amazing pigmentation that lasts on the lids all day.

5 Under £5: Liquid Eyeliner - Bourjois

Bourjois Liner Clubbing - £4.95

If you remember this liner from back in the day then join the club! I have used this liner since I was about 14 and when I used to wear a winged liner that was way way too much for me. What I love about this liner is that it is a different applicator to the others and allows you to create some really amazing liner looks with this. This liner definitely does what it says on the tin that its sweat and tears proof because I've definitely worn this in a really hot club and when I've watched the saddest movie ever (My Sisters Keeper) and if I don't continuously wipe my eyes this liner on it doesn't budge. If you're not used to using more of a brush applicator instead of a felt tip then you might find it a bit tricky to start with but once you get the hang of it I'm sure you'll love it.

5 Under £5: Liquid Eyeliner - Collection

Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Liquid Eyeline - £2.99

This liner is clearly very different from the others in this list and mostly I don't actually use it as a liner. This is such a versatile product because it can be used as just a liner or it can be used as an all over the lid glitter which is how I use this product. I find this to be the perfect product to use as a glitter eyeshadow topper, all I do when I use this product is that when I've finished my eyeshadow and I'm wanting an extra pop of glitter I just use this liner straight from the tube and it works so well. Using the liner as glitter will save you from having to use a glitter glue and a loose glitter. On the odd occasion that I have used this product as a liner, the long brush makes it really easy to manoeuvre it around the eyes. I am actually going to be ordering more of the different shades to add to me growing glitter liner collection!

So that's it for another round on 5 Under £5 products. I love affordable makeup and liners from the drugstore can be as good if not better than High-End liners. Have you tried any of these liners before?

    1. I’m pretty sure you could definitely get the Maybelline liner and I think the Essence one too! X

  3. The Collection one was such a throwback for me! I usually opt for cheaper liners as I don't wear them that often and they usually dry up on me. The Essence one sounds incredible for the price! And if it's only £2, I definitely don't mind repurchasing when it dries up on me x

    1. That liner is really nostalgic to me too! I do find the drying up of liners to be really annoying but you don’t mind so much when it’s only £2! X

  4. I love that Collection liner, it's so gorgeous! Totally reminded me that mine ran out, and I've not bought another one, so I'll have to get another one of those. I used to love the Maybelline one back in the day too. Great post xx
