We are now officially in the second month of the year (finally) and February is known as the month of love because of Valentine's day and you can tell that from this month Birchbox. The theme of this months Birchbox is Birchbox With Love and the design of this box is perfect for that and it is definitely one of my favourites. In today's post, I'll be sharing with you all of the goodies I got this month.

The first thing I noticed about this blush was how pretty it was in the pan, I love when makeup products had a design to them and this one has a really pretty flower design to it. This blush is a really pretty peachy pink blush that is supposed to give your cheeks a natural and luminous finish. Reading up about this blush made me even more excited to try it out. My makeup obsession for the moment is blush so this product came at the perfect time. When I tried this blush for the first time I instantly fell in love. The colour was the perfect shade for me it was a pinky coral colour, it reminds me of a colour that I would usually wear during the spring and summer months but I'm bringing it out earlier. Since getting this blush I have been using it every day and have been loving it. Beauaniq Beauty also says a big no to animal ingredients, synthetic fragrance, irritants, parabens, phthalates and sulphates which is a huge plus from me.

I have tried a number of Lord & Berry products that I got from my Birchboxes and have been really impressed with them. This time I got a matte lip crayon which again I was very excited about because lip products are my favourite especially lip crayons. This product is a liner meets lipstick which gives off a matte colour the glides on the lips effortlessly. This lip crayon is made with soothing emollients for a comfortable and soft feel. I have tried this lip crayon a few times and can say that this is definitely true. For a matte product, it is actually really comfortable to wear and didn't feel overly drying, it actually sat on the lips really nicely and smoothly. The only bad thing I would say about this lip crayon is that it isn't the most long-wearing as it wore off very quickly when I ate but that wasn't a deal-breaker for me because it layered very easily.

Sticking with the pink theme with this hand cream. This is another brand that I have discovered from Birchbox and have tried quite a few of their products which I have quite liked. With hand creams, I always chop and change with what I use because I don't really have a holy grail product that I must use all the time. This hand cream is really lovely it is described to be deeply nourishing cream that hydrates and softens the skin containing shea butter and rose. I did like this cream but it didn't blow me away, it definitely did hydrate and soften my hands but I have found that with a lot of other hand creams that I have tried. This cream is the perfect size to chuck in my bag and its great for topping up during the day!

amika RESET Exfoliating Jelly Shampoo

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again that I always find that amika hair products always seem to work for my hair! When reading about this shampoo I wasn’t really sure what to expect because you never really see the words exfoliating and jelly when your talking about a shampoo. This shampoo says that it will give your scalp some well deserved TLC because it’s a 2-in-1 shampoo and scrub that is suitable for all hair types. The jelly shampoo is formulated with charcoal, pink clay and sea salt to purify, rebalance and smooth your scalp removing all traces of product build up and dead skin cells. With all of that in mind this really sounded like an interesting product for the hair. I’ve only tried this shampoo once and so far so good. I did feel like my hair and scalp felt a lot cleaner and fresh as I tend to forget about my scalp quite a bit. This is definitely a product that I want to try out more and see how it goes.

Vitamaques Lip Mask - Plump and Repair

You may not believe this but I have never actually tried a lip mask until now. I always just thought that they were a bit gimmicky and didn’t really work but that was me just judging a book by its cover! This sheet mask is infused with hyaluronic acid, collagen boosters and mulberry extract that improves elasticity, adds moisture, repairs and soothes dry skin and subtly plumps for noticeably softer skin lips in just 15 minutes. I’ve tried this mask once and I did quite like it, now I won’t say it did wonders for my lips but it definitely did leave them feeling a lot smoother. I naturally have quite full lips so I didn’t really notice a lot of plumping going on but the mask did give my lips a slight tingling sensation when I had it on. I think if you are someone who has dry lips this might be a nice product to try out and see if the plumping action works for you.

Spacemasks Rose Mask

A few months ago I tried out the Jasmin version of this mask and really loved how relaxed and calm it made me feel when I had it on so I was very intrigued to see if I would feel the same about the Rose version. This mask is infused with nourishing and mood-calming rose. When you have this mask over your eyes it gradually starts to heat up which feels amazing because of the thin layer of iron filling inside which is entwined with the oxygen molecules which causes the mask to heat up. I used this mask after a long day staring at a screen and this product really helped to soothe my eyes and me. When you are wearing this mask your whole body constantly relaxes and for only £3.50 a mask I’m going to be stocking up!

Pin For Later...

This was again another very successful box from Birchbox. A few of the items in this box I think are going to be apart of my everyday routine. Have you tried any of these products before?

  1. I used a lip crayon once a couple of years ago but after reading your review, I want to try it again. You caught my attention when you said the lip crayon is matte and not uncomfortable but easy to layer. Plus, I need to get my hands on the rose mask. Anything skincare with rose properties is super soothing to my sensitive skin! Thanks for sharing the new goodies🧡👊🏾
