Body Care Products In My Collection image

{Contains gifted items} At the moment when writing this post, it is currently very warm out but I'm inside at home because of the UK lockdown and thought it would be the perfect time to share with you a few body care treats that I have recently added to my collection. Even though we can't go out and about we still need to take care of our skin so when we are eventually allowed out we will look brand new!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Body & Exfoliating Mit

When I was getting all the products ready for this post the first product I thought od was the Liz Earle products I got for Christmas. The first product from the set that I have been loving at using a lot is the Cleanse & Polish cream that I use in the bath. This product was inspired by the award-winning Liz Earl facial cleanser Cleanse & Polish. This product along with the exfoliating it works to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate all over leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised for 48 hours. Whenever I use this product I know im going to be having a good skin day, as it just leaves my skin looking and feeling amazing. This product is slightly pricer than I usually spend on body care which is why I have been using it pretty sparingly as I don't want to run out of it too quickly. I like to use this product when I feel that my skin needs a good pick me up and when it's feeling pretty dry and needs a lot of moisture. Sometimes when I use normal body washes in the bath or shower my skin tends to feel slightly dry or tight but with this, it leaves my skin feeling extra smooth.

Liz Earle Skin Replenishing Body Balm

This is the second product that I got from the Liz Earle set for Christmas and this is probably the product that I use the most. This body balm I have been using every day after my bath to moisturise and soften my skin. This product is a luxurious, fast-absorbing balm which also leaves the skin moisturised, revitalised and smooth for 48 hours. Some of the ingredients in this cream include moisturising shea butter and rice bran oil, black oat seed extract to leave the skin feeling soft and soothed. This body balm is also fragranced with essential oils with warm and spicy undertones to delicately scent the skin. After I use this product the one thing I notice is that it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and I also smell amazing which is a huge plus.

FFS Friction Free Pre-Shave Scrub*

Last month for mothers day I was very kindly gifted the Friction Free Shaving Set which you can read all about in my Mothers Day Gift Guide. From the set, I have been really obsessed with religiously using two products one being the Pre Shave Scrub. Whenever its shaving day (which isn't too often now that we're in lockdown) I always start off with using the pre-shave scrub to remove dead skin and to help soften the skin to remove any ingrown hairs before shaving. This scrub contains manuka honey which retains moisture, almond extract which seals in moisture and strengthens the skin and also walnut scrub to exfoliate the skin. After I use this product my skin does feel really lovely and it is the perfect product at removing all my dry skin making it so much easier to shave over.

FFS Friction Free Shave Cream*

The other product that I have been using from the FFS Shave Set is the Friction Free Shave Cream which I have also been using every time I shave my legs or underarms. I was always someone who would use anything I had on hand as a shaving cream like hair conditioner but now that I have tried this product I won't be going back. Some of the ingredients in this cream include Manuka Honey for moisturising, Shea Butter and Coconut oil which softens and moisturizes the skin. When I use this product I feel like it adds a layer onto the skin which stops the razor from causing any friction to the skin or razor burn which is great. I have also noticed that when I use this product that I don't cut myself when shaving my legs anymore which is perfect.

BaliBody Luxe Moisturising Lotion*

This is another product that I was kindly gifted but this time it was from BaliBody which I have mentioned a few times on my blog, in the Mothers Day Gift Guide and also The BaliBody Glow Stick Highlighters Review. This product really lives up to its name because it is luxury and its not a product that I use everyday but mainly for special occasions or if im going out (not at the moment obviously). Whenever I use this cream my skin always looks and feels amazing and super smooth. When I apply this cream it soaks into the skin quickly without leaving this skin feeling greasy but leaves the skin looking really pretty and luminous.

  8. I've been wanting to try FFS for a while now so I'm happy to hear you're loving them, I suffer quite a lot with sensitivity with most forms of hair removal but their products sound like they could potentially help that. I didn't know Liz Earle did C&P for the body too! I totally agree that it's important to take of your skin during lockdown, mine has been really dry so it's been getting some extra pampering lately x

  9. Right now I'm using Rituals foaming shower gel with cherry blossom and rice milk. It's such a nice refreshing thing to use in the morning shower.

  10. I'm so bad at body pampering, I rarely do it except when we're on holiday! My normal routine is a shower lily with Dove shower gel and that's about it. I epilate my legs instead of shaving because it last longer but I have noticed that the skin is drier now it's not being shaved off so I think now might be the perfect time to get into a better body care routine. Thank you for the recommendations! xx

  12. I keep seeing Liz Earle all over Instagram and I'm very curious to trying. I spoke to another blogger who said it's decent on sensitive skin. I Googled the body polish and I like how they give you the exfoliating cloth. I'm gonna check it out more! Thanks for sharing!
