We are now officially in the middle of Autumn which means that the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting a lot colder. Whenever the weather changes like this I like to change up my evening routine and instead of a shower, I have a nice hot bath using all of my Bath Time Essentials. In today's post, I'll be sharing my favourite products to use when I hate a hot bath!

Molton Brown Recharge Black Pepper Bath & Shower Gel

This product is definitely a luxury bath product and its something that I save for when I really need a long relaxing bath. Molton Brown is a brand that I haven't tried much from in the past because they are slightly pricey but from what I have tried I have completely loved. This bath & shower gel contains ingredients such as Madagascan peppercorn oil,  coriander oil and basil oil to give off a fresh herby sensation and scent which I think smells amazing. This product also provides antioxidant protection to keep the skin in optimum condition. I actually use this product in two different ways, firstly I use it as a shower gel on my skin which I love because it leaves my skin feel smooth and soft but I also sometimes use it as a bubble bath. I actually discovered this by accident when i ran out of my normal bubble bath and then used this and it actually worked surprisingly well with it producing a lot of bubbles and it also gives off such a lovely scent that fills the whole bathroom. Whenever I've used this product it leaves my skin feeling extra soft and nourished, I like to save this product because it is £22 a pop but I've had my bottle for ages and it's still going strong. I also think this product would make a lovely gift for someone this Christmas!

L'Occutain Almond Shower Oil

Whenever I think of L'Occutain the first thing that comes to mind is this product and the fact that it is such a luxury product that's worth every penny! This product is so different to anything that I've tried before because once the oil is applied to the body and mixed with a bit of water it turns into a nice foam wash that literally leaves the skin feeling like silk. L'Occutain is famous for this oil and once you try it you'll know why. This product obviously contains almond oil which is the perfect ingredient for softening and moisturising the skin. When this product turns into a foam it leaves a satin-soft sheen on the skin and even when you're out of the bath and dry your skin still feels velvety smooth. This product is a little pricey at £19.50 but if you look at my bottle it literally looks like I haven't touched it but I use it a lot on my skin, you only need such a small amount each time because it spreads on the body when it's being lathered. Another thing I love about this product and L'Occutain is that you can buy refill pouches so you don't need to repurchase the whole bottle and the refill pouches can be recycled, another product that would be perfect as a gift!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Body Gentle Mitt Cleanser

Liz Earle has always been brand that I've always lusted over and when I got this product in a gift set last Christmas I was so excited about trying it. Since then I have used it a lot and every time I do it leaves my skin feeling ao soft and nourished. This product is enriched with pure plant oils including sunflower seed, apricot kernel and rice bran which helps to nourish the skin while cleansing. This product also includes naturally derived foaming agents with a eucalyptus fragrance oil which helps to invigorate and uplift the senses. Whenever I use this product I know that it is going to make my skin feel amazing but I also feel totally relaxed and calm after using it. This is another product that's a little pricey at £19 but you also get a cleansing mitt with which I love to use with this body cleanser because it also acts as an exfoliator to remove any surface dead skin and leave my skin feeling super smooth.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish

The body Shop has been a brand that I've used for years and they are known for their amazing body care products. The first thing that I notice about this product whenever I use it is the amazing smell that it has of strawberries. This body polish isn't too rough on the skin but it has just the right amount of exfoliating particles to help remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. This body polish contains Strawberry seed oil, juice and fruit extract and Honey which is natures powerhouse moisturiser. I love to use this product on my legs before shaving because it removes all dead skin cells and dry areas making it easier for a smooth shave and leaves my skin feeling super smooth. This product also lasts ages because you only need a small amount that spreads once you rub it into the body making this product really affordable.
