Recently I went on a little purge of my makeup and decided to finally let go of some products that I haven't used in a while but this also helped me to rediscover some products that I haven't used or just forgot about and that was mainly my Face Palettes. I tend to use single Bronzer, Blush and Highlighters but Face Palettes are so much easier as you get all three products in one which makes them perfect for travel on anyone on the go. Here I'll show you all my favourite Face Palettes worth giving a go.

Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit - Ultra Fair 001£3.50

Stating with the most inexpensive product on my list is this contour kit from Revolution, this was actually one of the first products that I actually tried from the brand. I know your probably thinking why I have the colour ultra fair and it's actually because of the bronzer shade, it was slightly too orange in the other Palettes and I actually think this colour is a perfect bronzer shade for me (as you can see I've hit pan). The bronzer shade in this palette is my favourite it's a really nice warm colour that works really well with my skin tone. The highlighter shade is also a really lovely shimmery light pinky white colour which I think would look great on all skin tones, you can also build this highlighter up if you want a more blinding look. The only problem I have with this palette is the blusher shade, the shade is more of a pink gold highlighter than a blush. The blush is pretty shimmery which I tend to stay away from as I feel like I look like a disco ball! What I have done with the blusher shade is that I've used it as more of a eyeshadow shade and it actually looks very pretty and has a very good colour pay off.

As soon as this product was released I knew I had to have it, the palette comes with two blusher shades one matte and one shimmer, a highlighter shade and a bronzer shade. The product I've used most in this palette is clearly the bronzer and it's actually my favourite product in the palette. The shade of this bronzer is slightly darker than my others which I really like for when I have a tan of have just come off holiday. The formula of this bronzer is really good and blends easily into my skin and isn't give me that horrible muddy look that some bronzer scan give. The highlighter shade in this palette is also a really lovely product, it is more of a glowy highlight than a glittery one and I prefer this for more everyday us, this highlighter looks really lovely with pinky shades as it has a pink undertone. I really enjoy the two blushers in this palette and sometimes even mix them together for a more vibrant look. The matte shade is my go to for an everyday natural look and the more shimmer shade I use more for nights out because it has a stronger colour pay off. What's I like about the shimmer blush is that it isn't too overpowering and doesn't have too much glitter.

If you have read my blog for a while you will know that I've mentioned this product before in my Most Used Makeup Post and I just had to add it to this list because of how much I love it. This palette can be used as a full face palette as it includes two different eyeshadow shades, blusher and a highlighter shade that can also be used as a shadow colour. The only problem I had about this palette is that it doesn't include a bronzer shade. As you can see from the image I have completely used up the lid shade which never happens because I used to use it for most of my eye looks as a crease shade. The blusher shade is a really pretty pinky coral which has a really nice formula and blends into the apples of the cheeks do easily and quickly. The highlighter shade in this palette is also really lovely but it isn't my first choice as I prefer to use it as a inner corner highlight for when I do pinky eye looks.

This product I actually got last Christmas and have been using it on and off since, this box has 4 different Benefit blushes, Hola bronzer and a What's Up Highlight, this plate also included the They're Real Mascara and They're Real Push Up Liner which I used up a while ago because they are great products. What I love most about this box is the amount of different blushes that you get and the different variations in shades, two are more matte shade and the other have a slight shimmer to them. The product blusher I've used most in this pallet is the Coralista blush, this has more of a coral shade making it perfect for summer. I've also loved using the Hola Bronzer in this palette, this bronzer is slightly lighter than I tend to use but I really like it more for when I go for a more natural look, I also like to use this for a no makeup makeup look as it gives a really subtle bronze to my skin.

I got this pallet a few years ago and it is still going strong, I have only just hit pan on this Bronzer shade. This bronzer in this palette has the best formula, you need the smallest amount if product on your brush and it's enough to get a strong brozer look, the only thing I would say about this bronzer is to work with a light hand and build your way up as you can apply too much if you go in pretty heavy. The highlighter shade is a. It different to what I usually use as it's more of a gold shade and it also has more of a glittery look than shimmer, I tend to use this highlighter more for a night out as it can be really blinding. This highlighter also works really well on the eyes and as a inner corner highlight. The blusher shade is a really pretty matte pink shade, the formula of this product is slightly different than the bronzer because it has a light pigmentation and needs building up to get your desired look.

I really enjoy using Face Palettes as you get a number of different products all in one making it easier for everyone. What Face Palettes do you to use?

    1. Absolutely love the Urban Decay one, it’s not really for everyday use as it’s so pigmented but love it for a night out! X

  4. I absolutely love Revolution face products! Saying that I love all Revolution products right now, haha. I use their ultra glow palette all the time as I have the perfect skin tone to use it for blush, bronze and highlight! I've never really delved into Benefit or The Balm products but they are some brands I'd really like to try some stuff from soon as they are pretty raved about. I've been trying out a Pixi one recently aswell that has been so lovely and well worth the money!

  5. I don't have any of these! I've never seen those Revolution face palettes before but those colours actually look perfect for my ultra fair skin. Those mini palettes from The Balm are so cute, I've been meaning to get one for a while now. They seem great for travel and it's amazing that you can use it as a face palette too x
