This year there has been a surge in the number of brands that are offering beauty advent calenders. They are an amazing chance to try out different and new products. Most of the advent calendars come with the 24 days of Christmas but some come with 12. Here I have put together all the calendars that I would love to get and try out over the Christmas period!

If you have read my blog for a while you will know that I love the Soap & Glory brand, I have to try out all of their new releases and I'm also lucky enough to be apart of the Soap & Glory #babesofglory team. I saw this advent calendar first on Twitter and knew I had to have it. This calendar is a 24 day one which is perfect with some of my favourite products included such as Hand Food and Heel Genius. You also receive a few makeup bits such as the Thich & Fast Mascara which I love and the Crazy Sexy Khole Eyeliner which I haven't tried.

Is it worth the price?
For all 24 products, you can this calendar for £40 which in the grand scheme of things that is actually pretty reasonable, some of the calendars that I've seen has gone all the way up to £300! Most of the products that you get are mini or deluxe samples at 50ml each. I will be definitely treating myself to this nearer to Christmas.

The Body Shop 25 Days Of Enchanted Deluxe Advent Calendar £65

The Body Shop advent calendars are always so legendary, I see them every year and always want to get one! The design of this calendar is my favourite, it has the cutest design with an enchanted forest theme, I actually really like that this calendar is different and isn't too Christmasy. In this calendar, you get 25 different products ranging from Body Butters and Lip Balms. What I like about this calendar is that you get to try out a good range of products which I think will last ages.

Is it worth the price?
I do actually think this price is reasonable, this box all together is actually worth £121 which means your making a saving of £56! In this calendar, you also get 3 full-size products along with a lot of smaller deluxe sized products which I actually love because they're perfect for travelling and carrying around in your handbag.

As you know I have been subscribing to Birchbox for a while and have been really happy getting my new box every month and seeing what products are inside and trying out new makeup, skincare, and hair care. This calendar is a 24 day one with a huge amount of different brands included, such as Pixi and Benefit. What I love about this box is that I haven't actually seen what products are inside and I like a good surprise!

Is it worth the price?

I actually think that this box isn't too expensive as it is claimed to be worth £179 meaning you will make a saving of £114 which I think is amazing! I also really love the design of this advent calendar with the little boxes that you pull out, this would be something I would definitely put on display around Christmas.

Feel Unique The Little Beauty Parcel - 24 Day Beauty Advent Calendar RRP £75

This probably wins in the best design category, it's just the cutest box and I really like that it's not too obviously Christmasy, I actually think I would keep the box after as its so pretty. In this box, you get 24 different products including a Revlon lipstick, REN Ready Steady Glow and the Caudalie Cleansing Oil. In this calendar, you get a good selection of different products including makeup and skincare and this gives you the opportunity to try out new products.

Is it worth the price?
This is one of the more expensive prices that I have on my list but I definitely think its worth it because you get a really good selection of different products. This box actually has a big value of £250 which means that you make a saving of £175 which is really great!

Yankee Candle Wreath Advent Calendar RRP £21.99

This isn't technically a beauty advent calendar but I love a good candle and especially if its a Yankee Candle. I have been using Yankee candles for years and have really loved some of their scents like Pink Sands and Macaroon Treats. In this advent calendar, you get 24 festively scented tealight candles with some including All The Bright and a new Glittering Star scent.

Is it worth the price?

I do actually think this price is worth it because for £21.99 you receive a good selection of candles in different scents and also a small tea light holder. This will definitely be going on my Christmas list!

The lead up to Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year and adding a new beauty product for each day is just a bonus. Will you be getting any of these Advent Calendars?

  2. These all sound so good! I've never got a beauty advent calendar before, but I would love to. They always seem so fun and exciting. If I was to get one, I'd love to get one that was based on nail products. I can imagine that would be amazing :D

    1. The value is really great for the Soap & Glory advent calendar! I did like the look of the Selfridges one but I couldn't justify spending that much on a calendar x
