The Best Non-Sticky Lip Glosses!

the best non-sticky lip glosses

Spring has definitely sprung in the UK and when it does I always get extra excited to switch up my makeup and this time I have been overly obsessed with Lip gloss. The only problem with lip gloss is the stickiness, I can't stand my lips being extra tacky or sticky so I have put this list together of the best non-sticky lip glosses that I've found work brilliantly and wear comfortably and I think I may have found the best non-sticky lip gloss!

Sleek Lip Shot Gloss Impact

This lip gloss is slightly different from the others that will be on this list because it is more of a non-matte liquid lipstick because of the pigmentation that it has. I've tried other products like this before and I have found them to be pretty uncomfortable to wear as my lips get stuck together which has got to be one of the worst feelings ever. On the Sleek website, this lip gloss is described to be non-sticky which I would definitely agree with and they also have a very versatile shade range to fit all different skin tones. This product also applies to the lips really easily and you get a high impact of pigment with one swipe and is super long lasting and with all of these benefits it makes this gloss a great all-around product. This is a product that I don't actually mind wearing on a windy day because I haven't yet had an issue with my hair getting stuck to my lips with this lip gloss!

The Balm Pretty Smart Lip Gloss

I stumbled across this lip gloss on a trip to Superdrug and it was also on sale so I couldn't resist. I'm not sure what I was expecting from this lip gloss but it definitely beats my expectations. The colour I have for this lipgloss is a really pretty brown nude shade which I actually like to use with other lipstick underneath to create different shades. I actually have a test when I wear lip gloss and I can tell as soon as I apply the gloss if I'm going to like it or not and with this gloss, I knew straight away as my lips didn't get stuck when I rubbed them and they weren't tacky at all. This lip gloss felt more like a lip oil because of how comfortable it is was to wear. The formula of this lip gloss is extra moisturising with the added ingredient of Ginseng which has antioxidant benefits.

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss

This lip gloss is another one on this list that is slightly different from the others because it's also a plumping lip gloss. This lip gloss is another favourite of mine and even though it's slightly more than I like to spend on a lip gloss but this product is worth it. Whenever I have used plumping products before there's usually something in the formula which makes the product extra sticky but this one doesn't have that. The ingredients in this lip gloss add moisture to the lips with Shea Butter and Avacado and peppermint which gives the lips its slightly tingling sensation. When I wear this lipgloss I usually wear it on its own when I want a subtle and natural look which wears really comfortably and lasts all day. I like to wear this product when I'm at work because of its no-fuss formula.

Autograph UltraShine Lip Gloss

I had to add this product to my list because of how much I use and love it. This lip gloss has actually been repackaged to the Colour Shine Lip Laquer. Out of this bunch of lip gloss, this is probably the one I wear the most layered with other products, I like to apply different lipsticks or liquid lipsticks to make them more glossy and easy to wear. Autograph isn't a brand that I've used much before but this product is definitely a great one from them. This product is also described to have a cushioning formula which makes the lips appear more fuller which is something I haven't really noticed but because this product doesn't make my lips stick together when I talk or eat I had to add it to this list.

The last but definitely not least product on my list has to be the L'Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss. This lip gloss might actually be my favourite out of the bunch because I have this product in 5 different shades. Another thing I love about this product is that it has a mirror-like shine giving this lip gloss a high shine and it is one of the glossiest of the bunch. This lip gloss is probably one of the most comfortable to wear and feels a lot more like a thicker lip oil as it keeps the lips moisturised and smooth while wearing it. The formula of this lip gloss makes it a lot easier to wear and it can be used for a natural look or dressed up for an evening look. I think with this product I may have found the best non-sticky lip gloss.

  1. Oh wow, Aaliyah, you must have read my mind, I was moaning only the other day about how I can't wear glosses because they're all so sticky and tacky! I'm a massive fan of Bare Minerals, and I have a soft spot for L'Oreal too, so I'll definitely be checking out both of these. Thank you so much for sharing this! Lisa x

    1. Sticky lipglosses are the worst! Especially when it’s extra windy out like it has been, the L’Oreal lip gloss is the best and feels so comfortable on the lips! X

  2. Okay Aaliyah, what shade is that L'Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss because... I NEED it. Look like it could be the perfect nude shade for my skin tone. I’m not a big makeup girl but I like adding to my collection here and there. I currently just have a Kiko clear lipgloss, can’t go wrong with those

  3. I love the shade of the L'Oreal one! I usually prefer matte lips because I hate the sticky feeling of gloss but I might have a look at a couple of these and see if I can be converted for summer x

  5. What a lovely review, it's so detailed! I always get frustrated with sticky lip glosses, I found a Maybelline one that isn't sticky but is SO difficult to get off! The L'Oreal one sounds amazing!

    1. Thank you! I find it actually quite hard to find a good amount of lipglosses that don’t actually stick together it took me ages to find these five! I’d 100% reccomend the L’Oreal lip gloss x

  6. First....your flatlay is stunning! Love this review, I never was a lip person for cosmetics as hate the sticky feel and used to be conscious of my teeth (old dentist bodged them) and felt lipgloss made them noticeable. But since a load of dental work with a great new dentist I feel more confident. I would probable go for Autograph colour wise but love the shade of the Sleek one. Will certainly check some of these out. I love Bare Minerals so may start there. One I do like and sometimes will wear is the chubby sticks from Clinique x

  7. Ahh I'm so glad you've tested all these because that's literally my pet hate about gloss - i always end up with sticky glittery hair tips and/or hair stuck to my face.. it's .. um... lovely hahaha I'll maybe try one of these and be reconverted to lip-gloss though!

  8. You're so right, there's nothing worse than a sticky lip gloss. It feels so gross and it looks really weird too haha. I love the colour of L'Oreal one so much, it's really natural but beautiful. The Sleek one is beautiful for more of a statement lip though. Also your photography is stunning!

  12. I never wear glosses because they are sticky. I love lipsticks but they tend to dry out so lipgloss really is a cool alternative, and even better if they are non sticky! I need to check those out
