Top 3 Affordable Palettes For Autumn Flatlay

Affordable makeup has always been a passion of mine and if you have read my blog for a while you will probably see that I feature it quite a lot in my blog posts. Eyeshadow palettes are also one of my all-time favourite makeup items and over the years I have collected quite a few affordable palettes that are amazing quality. In today's post, I will be sharing you you 3 of my favourite affordable eyeshadow palettes to use during Autumn!

Top 3 Affordable Palettes For Autumn - Collection

I have had this palette for a few years now and I was originally obsessed with this range of eyeshadow palettes from Collection when I watched Fleur de Force talk about it in one of her videos many moons ago. I have actually collected quite a few of the other palettes from the range with different shades like Nude and Nude Grey. Out of the three of these palettes that I have I am always most drawn to this palette because of the nice mix of all shimmer shades. I like to use this palette most during the Autumn because of the golden and bronze shades that make me instantly think of this time of year.

When I use this palette I do actually like to use a few matte shades from other palettes so that I can create a complete eyeshadow look. I think this palette would actually be perfect if it had the extra two matte shades, a lighter brown and a darker brown for some transition and crease shades. The third shade in this palette (the coppery gold) called Ochre is probably my favourite out of the whole palette, I feel like with just this shade and maybe a darker matte brown you can create a really simple everyday autumn eyeshadow look. All of the shades in this palette are shimmery shades and they all really have amazing quality and apply really smoothly to the lids without much fallout or chunkiness to them which can happen with shimmer shades. If your someone who loves to wear a nice natural shimmery eyeshadow look then I would definitely recommend you to try out this handy little palette.

Top 3 Affordable Palettes For Autumn - MUA

MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow Palette - £4.00

Before I had even tried any Revolution products MUA was my go-to affordable palette brand. They made good quality shades for such an affordable price and I now have around 5 in my collection, The Heaven and Earth palette used to be my all-time favourite that I actually reached pan on a few shades which hardly ever happens. Whenever I look at this palette I instantly notice the really shimmery glitter shades in the most beautiful gold and bronze shades. Some of the shades in this palette are pretty similar to the Collection palette above but this palette has the added benefit of quite a few matte shades.

This is a palette that I really like to use during the days in Autumn because of the gorgeous natural looks that you can create with it, I've been away a few times over the weekends in the colder months using this palette and I've always been able to create a few different looks with using just this one palette. My favourite shades in this palette is the 4th shade along which is called Fiery and this shade is the most gorgeous shimmery copper shade, this other shade I really like is the second shade along called Devotion which is similar to Firey but it is more of a golden shimmer shade. Some of the shimmery shades in this palette are slightly on the chunky side but if you apply it with a brush or lightly with your fingers you can work with it. If I was blind testing this product I would definitely guess that it would have been more than the £4 price tag!

Top 3 Affordable Palettes For Autumn - Revolution

Revolution Re-Loaded Newtrals 3 Palette - £4.00

When I was rummaging through my palettes to find the right ones to add to this post this palette caught my eye straight away. Revolution palettes have always been a favourite of mine as they are one of the most affordable ones that you can get from the High Street that also are really great quality. I don't think I actually purchased this palette in the Autumn but all the shades in this palette give me definite Autumnal vibes because of the beautiful mix of orange, red and gold shades.

Whenever I use this palette I know im going to have a very good makeup day. This palette transitions from day to night seamlessly. You can create such amazing looks that can be quite natural or they can also be quite dramatic by just adding a few of the darker shades. My favourite shades from this palette are actually the dark matte red shades which gives different eye looks a lot more depth. This palette would also be perfect to take away with you because you can create so many different looks with all the different shades using different techniques such as cut creases and halo eyes. The pigmentation from this palette is actually one of the best things about it as nearly all of the shades whether they are matte or shimmer swatch perfectly and apply to the eyes really easily!

The one thing I love the most about Autumn is when the leaves change colour and that always means that I like to change up the colours in my makeup routine too and using different affordable palettes is the best way to do just that. Have you tried any of these palettes before?

  5. The Revolution one is definitely the kind of palette I think of when I think autumnal makeup. I love the deeper reds for a full glam look and I definitely agree with the more bronzey/ golden shades being associated with this time of year too. I haven't tried any of these, definitely need to have a look x

  7. I can't believe the prices of these palettes, how on earth can they sell them for so little money! I don't tend to wear eyeshadow as it disappears mid morning no matter what primer or base I use, but I know plenty of friends who'd love these palettes. Gorgeous Autumn colours too, great recommendations, Aaliyah, thank you! Lisa X

    1. These are some really affordable options which for the price still work so well at being pigmented and long lasting. Have you tried setting the primer with a matte shade before applying other products on top? Sometimes that helps! X

  8. Those look so pretty! I'm always too much of a wuss to wear shimmery eyeshadow, and I don't know why - I love it on other people, but always chicken out when I go to try it on myself!
