In the world, at the moment we are going through a bit of a crazy time so I wanted to carry on making blog posts as an escape for people snd to add a little lightness so for this post I will finally be carrying on with my Makeup Collection. Liquid eyeliner is one of my favourite makeup products and I have been wearing it most days for as long as I can remember. In today's post, I'll be sharing with you all of the Liquid Eyeliners I have in my collection.

This liner is one that I actually got from my October Birchbox last year and have been loving it ever since. I haven't tried much from Ciate before but with this liner, I have been really impressed and it makes me want to try more from the brand. This liner is one of my favourites out of my collection because it applies to the eyes so easily with just one swipe there is full pigmentation and the colour applies as a deep black. Another thing I really love about this liner is that it dries down to a demi-matte finish and doesn't budge if my eyes water (which happens a lot). The applicator is a medium-size felt tip liner which doesn't have the most flexibility but it is still pretty easy to use, if you use it on its side it applies thicker and then when you use the tip it applies extra thin creating the perfect cat-eye.

For this liner, I actually got it in my No7 Advent Calendar that I did an unboxing before Christmas. I haven't actually used this liner much because I have so many other that I seem to reach for more. When I have used this liner a few times and I have liked it but it wasn't my favourite out of my collection. The applicator is a little stiff to use and it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of using it. This liner also doesn't have the best pigmentation but it does apply to the lid nicely so it definitely has some pros and cons to it.

For the longest time, this liner used to be my holy grail favourite and I do still use it from time to time. I think this liner was also a lot of peoples favourites and I remember there being a time when every YouTuber recommended it. The reason I loved this liner is that it had my favourite applicator which is a felt time liner that is medium-sized and is pretty flexible and really easy to use and I think even makeup beginners would find this liner easy to use. This liner dries down matte, it does dry down pretty quickly but it does give you time to work with the product and create a flawless eyeliner look.

I have mentioned this liner so many times on my blog one being my September Makeup Favourites. This liner has been one of my favourites for a while now and it is the liner that I reach for the most out of all of my other liners. I like this liner for many reasons It has amazing pigmentation and doesn't fade or wear away at all during the day. The applicator on this liner is a little different from my other liners because it is slightly smaller in size but I actually like it because it actually makes it easier to control and create eyeliner looks. The one issue I have with this liner is that it has actually leaked a few times but that may just be my liner.

5. Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

This liner is another product that I got in a Birchbox all the way back in December 2018. From using Birchbox I have tried all different products and brands and I was very happy to try out Eyeko for the first time. When I first used this liner I was obsessed, it is pitch black in colour, smudge-proof and because of the applicator, it gives a really precise liner look. Even though I have had this liner for quite a while it hasn't dried up at all and it looks amazing and the colour applies beautifully.

6. Kiko Out Of Bounds Eyeliner Pen

Kiko was a brand that I have loved for quite a while now and I used to actually have a Kiko shop near me and I would go and check out all of their new releases and limited edition items. This liner is actually one of their limited edition products from the Out of Bounds range. When I first got this liner I was obsessed and I actually went out and got a backup liner in case the one I had dried out. The thing I love most about this liner is that it has the best applicator, It is a felt tip liner which is really flexible which makes it really easy to apply the liner leaving the perfect cat eye or graphic liner look (if anyone from Kiko id reading this please bring back this liner!).

7. Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen

This is a product that I would add to one of those 'Youtubers Made Me Buy It' blog posts because that's, exactly where I got the idea to try this liner. I have been using this liner on and off for years and it was my favourite liner to use last year. This liner is perfect for anyone who loves really thin and precise liner looks because the applicator is pretty thin and long in sized making it perfect for liner looks. When getting all of my liners together for this post I rediscovered this liner and I think im going to be ordering a new one to use!

8. Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen Waterproof

This liner is just the waterproof version of the Essence Superfine. I decided I wanted to try out this version of the liner because I loved the original so much. For this liner, I actually wasn't as impressed the only reason for this is that this liner doesn't dry down very well, it stays slightly sticky on the lid and whenever I blink I could actually feel my lids sticking slightly. The applicator on this product is the same as the product above but the only issue for me is the formula of this liner.

9. Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

Maybelline is a brand that I have been using for years and have loved I think all of the products that I have tried from them including this liner. I got this liner on a whim one day when I was just looking for new makeup to try. This liner was once again one of my favourites and I haven't actually used it for some time but finding it again from putting this post together I was really happy. This liner has great pigmentation and the applicator makes it so easy to use. It also dries down to a lovely matte and it dries pretty quickly.

Pin For Later...

Looking through all of my liquid eyeliners for this post has helped me to rediscover some old favourites and get rid of some that are probably way out of date. Have you tried any of these liners before?

  1. I have never used a liquid eyeliner before, can you believe it! My go-tos are the Stila smudge sticks as they stay on all day and kind of melt into a soft line. I don't have a very steady hand so I think they're probably better for numpties like me, haha. But I enjoyed reading all about your faves, thank you for sharing why you like each one! x

  5. I wear eyeliner most days but I opt for gel most of the time and I'm not really sure why I don't use liquids more. The Eyeko ones are amazing and it's incredible that is hasn't dried down after that long!! For sure everyone has tried the Soap & Glory one and it's been everyone's holy grail at some point. I need to try the Revolution one! It's great that so many of these are good ones x
