my Most Used Makeup Part 2

For one person I do think I have a lot of makeup but that's my thing, everyone has that one thing that they love to buy like shoes or bags but mine is makeup! Out of all the makeup that I have there are a few products that I love and use the most. In today's post, I will be sharing with you all of my most used makeup.

I know by now that you are probably bored of me talking about this powder but it definitely has to be mentioned in this post. I use this product in my everyday makeup routine and its something that has been in my collection for years (I think I first tried this when I was 15). This product does everything I want in a powder, like making my skin look matte but not cakey and setting my foundation down and it does all of this for a really affordable price. Whenever I go out and I'm wearing foundation I make sure that I have this powder in my bag so I can touch up thought the day and keep the shine away. What I like about this product is that it is a fine powder which means that you can use it on your under eyes as well as all over the face and it isn't too heavy and doesn't create that cakey matte look. If you are someone who uses powder a lot and wants an affordable option to keep in your makeup bag then this is the powder for you!

This is a product that I already know that the majority of people have already tried and loved it. I have been using this bronzer on and off for years and it's more than I would usually spend on a bronzer but its definitely worth the extra pounds. Hoola Bronzer is a product that I think works for a lot of skin tones universally but if this shade is too dark or too light for you Benefit also have brought out different shades of the bronzer to fit a wider range of skin tones. This bronzer blends out onto the skin like a dream and I have found that it has other uses like I sometimes use it as an eyeshadow, the colour works perfectly as a transition shade and it also blends out perfectly in the crease. Whenever im away or travelling this is the product that I go for because I know that it would always give me a perfect sunkissed look that never fails.

I have mentioned this concealer so many times on my blog like recently in my Drugstore Makeup Essentials. This concealer is definitely one of my most used make products, I use it every day on my under eyes to make me look more alive and awake in the morning and not make me look like death warmed up. There are many reasons why I love this concealer with some of them being that it blends out really easily on the under eyes with either a brush, sponge or my finger. This concealer also isn't too thick in consistency so it doesn't cause any lines to look exaggerated or make the texture on my eyes to look cakey. I also like the sponge applicator because it seems to apply the right amount of concealer and spreads it on the under eyes perfectly.

MUA Pro Base Foundation

I haven't really had a favourite foundation for the longest time, I was just trying a few different ones that I did like but I didn't have a favourite until I tried this one. This foundation has been my favourite since I first tried it a few months ago, it does everything that I want a foundation to do. It has a matte formula so it sets on the skin nicely but doesn't look cakey and leaves the skin with a more velvety finish. Another reason I love this foundation is that it doesn't set too fast so it gives you the chance the blend out the foundation with either a sponge or brush. The finish this foundation gives is my favourite and it also has a good medium to full coverage and if you want to add more foundation this foundation is buildable and doesn't look too thick on the skin.

Smashbox Superfan Mascara

When I first tried this foundation I didn't actually want to like it because it's more than I like to spend on a mascara but this one was worth it. The brush applicator of this foundation is my favourite because it separates all the lashes and coats them all with the product which leaves the lashes looking thick and full. I like my mascaras to add length and volume to the lashes without making them look too spidery. I have tried other mascaras that are cheaper that I do really like but this one just seems to work really well at staying on the lashes all day without flaking away or smudging around the eyes. This is a mascara that I would happily pay £18 for!

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil

For my birthday last year, I got a set of Benefit brow products and used all of them up and then found my favourite from the bunch which was the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. I don't usually like the thicker slanted brow pencils but my favourites are usually the micro brow pencils so you can get more of precise look but this brow pencil is an exception. This foundation is the perfect consistency because it is right in the middle of a more waxy and dry feel to it meaning it applies to the brows really easily without tugging on the skin and it doesn't wipe away too easy either. I use this product on a daily basis to fill in my brows after I have carved them out and doing this made my brow routine so much quicker and I love the look that it gives.

Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer

At work, I have to wear a mask and a visor so my makeup doesn't get seem that much so I have been wanting to make my eye makeup look extra vibrant and that's where this product comes in. I swear by eye primer and use it every time I do my makeup, I used to be obsessed with Urban Decay primer potion but when I ran out I wanted to try a more affordable option and that's why I went for the Revolution Focus & Fix Primer. This product actually reminds me of the Urban Decay one because it isn't too thick and applies to the lids smoothly and doesn't crease at all which is a must for me. This primer also helps to prolong my eyeshadow and keeps it looking vibrant on my lids without any fading away. This product is definitely an essential for me and I need it whenever I'm wearing eyeshadow. When I was looking for this primer online I think Revolution has changed the packaging and it is now called the Prime & Lock Eye Primer.

  5. Rimmel has many of great products, even though they are a drug store brand. I particularly like their eye shadows. I use M.A.C. mascara and love it, but I may have to try Smashbox Superfan. It is hard to find a mascara that works well with contact lenses! Thanks for your detailed post.
