I will put my hands up and say that I am an eyeshadow palette collector and hoarder! I have been collecting palettes for a while now from drugstore and high-end brands and out of all of these palettes, I have found a few of my all-time favourite high-end palettes that are worth the extra pennies. In today's post, I'll be sharing with you my favourite high-end palettes and the looks I created with them!

Juvia's Place Magic Mini Palette

This palette was a real steal for me because I got it on Depop for only £7, Depop is a great way at finding High-End products for an affordable price. When I got this palette it was practically new, and I sanitised it before I started using it. The first thing that drew me in with this product is the gorgeous colour story, it has a mix of neutral shades and colourful shades, mattes and shimmers and as soon as I saw this palette I could picture loads of different looks that I wanted to do using it. The first thing I did when I got this palette was swatch the shades, I have used some amazing palettes before but not many have swatched as well as this one, the shades are buttery and soft and even the matte shades have amazing pigmentation. If you are new to makeup and arent the best at creating different makeup looks then this palette is for you because there are so many shades to choose from and they don't require much work to give off an amazing eyeshadow look with little effort.

The look I went for has sort of sunset vibes to it which I loved, the shimmery gold shade called Nubia on the first half of my eyelid is probably my favourite shade from the palette. It has a very intense shimmer to it and applies to the lid like a dream only using my finger to get the best colour pay off. The other shades I used in this look is Nana which is a burnt orange shade and Zakiya which is a gorgeous deep orange shade, these two colours mixed together worked perfectly in the crease and to deepen the outer corner and also on my lower lash line to tie the whole look together. For this look, I only used three different shades and it only took me a few minutes so it's perfect if you're wanting to do a quick look that also looks amazing!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Mini Pro Pigment Palette

Before I got this palette I had been lusting over it for weeks and then I got it for a birthday gift! This is actually my first palette from ABH and because of how much I love this palette it definitely won't be my last! At the moment I have been going through a pink and purple eyeshadow phase so this was definitely the palette for me. Looking at the shades in this palette even though you only get 9 there is still a great mix of different colours so loads of different looks can be made with it. I usually go for a palette that has more shimmer shades in it but this one is mostly matte shades with one shimmer and one pressed glitter which is the most beautiful shade. Swatching this palette I saw how vibrant these matte shades applied and how smooth the shimmer and metallic shades applied and that is what made me fall in love with this product.

The look I created with this palette isn't my favourite look out of the bunch but the fun thing about eyeshadow is that you can try different looks out and play around with different looks that sometimes work but sometimes don't. Even though the look wasn't my best the shades in this palette was just gorgeous and saved the look from being a disaster. The purple shades that I used in the crease for this look aren't usually what I go for but they applied to the lid so pigmented that they impressed me straight away. The metallic shade that I used on my lid is such a unique shade, In the pan, it looks like it would be a golden bronze shade but it actually has pink glitter so it kind of has a duo-chrome effect to it, when its applied ontop of different shades it has a different colour to it making it very versatile! With only these 9 shades you can create loads of different looks for any occasion.

Juvia's Place The Berries Palette

Juvia's Place is definitely a winner for me in the palette department, their palettes are just gorgeous and they have the best quality shadows with the most gorgeous shades and that includes this palette. This is another palette that I got for my birthday, I asked for it because the shade in the palettes are definitely my vibe at the moment, pink, pink and a bit more pink. When I opened this palette I noticed that one of the shades had smashed but these shimmer shades have a very soft consistency that I just put it back together with my finger and it stayed put. The shades in this palette swatched so beautifully especially the bright pink almost neon shade which is actually one of my favourites from the palette. In this palette, there is also a shimmer shade that is duo-chrome, It looks like a deep burgundy shade in the palette but once it's applied to the skin and it different lights it has pink and even yellow tones to it.

The look I created with this palette is probably my favourite out of the bunch because the colours just look so amazing together. For some people, this may be just a bit too much pink but for me, it's just the right amount. For the crease shades, I mixed the lightest pink shade in the palette and the deep matte pink shade that almost looks neon together and it gives off such a gorgeous pink. Then for my lid, I applied the duo-chrome shimmer shade and when it was on my lid it looks like more of a light pink shimmer which worked perfectly with this look. For the outer corner, I used the first shade in the palette which is a deep burgundy shade and used a very light hand to just add some dimension to the look.

Too Faced Salted Caramel Palette

As soon as I saw this palette I had to add it onto my Christmas list, I have used a few Too Faced Palettes in the past that I have loved and the colour story of this palette just spoke to me. I didn't realise when I got it that it was a Limited Edition palette for Christmas but my boyfriend accidentally ordered two so I'm actually selling one on Depop! The shades in this palette are my favourite everyday neutral shades that can really be worn for any occasion, you can have a simple neutral look for the day and then add some more shades and create a vibrant night time look (if we can ever go out again!). Swatching these shades I noticed just how good the pigmentation and consistency of these shadows were, they applied like a dream with little to no fallout. In this palette, you get 8 different shades but there are loads of different looks you can make with just this palette by combining different shades because they all work together so well!

For this look, I wanted to do something that I would wear every day and that would only take me around 5 minutes to do in the morning. For this look, I only used 3 different shades from the palette, The third matte pinky-brown shade in my crease and outer corner, putting this on the eye took seconds because the shades just blend so easily. To add a bit of depth to the look I added a small amount of the last colour in the palette which is a deep burgundy colour, For this, you need a fluffy brush and a light hand because you don't want it to look too dark. To add a bit of shimmer to this look I added the gorgeous shimmery pink shade which tied the whole look together, I also used this on my inner corner. For the lower lash line, I used the first matte shade to bring the look together and this whole look took me around 7 minutes which is perfect!

  1. I don't have any of these but the Juvia's Place palettes are all so pretty! I love the look of the Too Faced one too, it's the perfect size for a makeup bag or travel too (not like that's happening soon). I've heard some negative things about their limited edition products so it's great to know this one performs well x
