During the last Lockdown, I was using a lot more beauty products to keep me occupied and doing self-care that I ended up using up a lot of products all at the same time. I don't know if it's just me but why do all of the products you religiously use every day seem to run out all at the same time! I have collected a bunch of product empties to share with you and show you whether they are a rebuy or not.

Nivea Shower Cream Gel Rich Moisture Creme

I am somebody that usually uses whatever is in the shower at the time when I reach for a shower gel but for Christmas, I got a big Nivea gift set full of Nivea body care products and I saw this body wash and thought id give it a try. This is probably the first time that I've used up a whole body wash all in one go before without getting bored and using a different product. I really enjoyed using this body wash because it made my skin feel really smooth ad soft after using it and it didn't dry out my skin at all. For some reason, there are times when my skin can become sensitive so I try to use bath products that don't have too many added fragrance so this product is perfect for my sensitive skin, its pH formulated and dermatologist tested making it a perfect body wash for people with sensitive skin like me.

Repurchase? Yes definitely!

John Frieda Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight

This product has been my holy grail hair care product for years now, I have probably brought 3 0r 4 bottles of this over the years. Whenever I wash my hair and I'm going to straighten my hair I use this spray all over my hair and it helps to keep my hair straight and sleek for days. I don't know what magic is in this product but I've done my hair before when I haven't used this product and I got flyaways and frizz but then when I use this product it keeps my hair tamed and keeps the frizz away. Whenever I don't have this product in my collection I notice it straight away and so does my hair. This spray is definitely a product that I can't live without!

Repurchase? Yes it's already on its way

Simple Eye Makeup Remover

Over the years I have used this product on and off, I have tried a few different eye makeup removes before but have always come back to this one. My eyes can get pretty sensitive at times and a few removers can make my eyes sting but this one is perfect for my sensitive eyes, it doesn't make them irritated at all. I have used this remover on all different types of make before, full eyeshadow, mascara and even waterproof mascara and this product remove them quickly and easily without the need to rub at my eyes. Whenever somebody asks me for an eye makeup remover recommendation I always suggest this product because it's affordable and effective!

Repurchase? Its already on my bathroom shelf

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + Moisturiser

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I am completely obsessed with this moisturiser. I have been using it for around a  year now and I love the way that it has improved my skin by making it less oily and less problematic. Since using this product my skin has changed drastically and I'm finally on my way to having clear skin. I use this product as my daily moisturiser and since using it for around a year now I have even noticed that the spot scars and red marks that I have are starting to reduce and this has been an issue with my skin for a few years. I also love the way that my skin feels when I use this product, it keeps my skin feeling hydrated and nourished and this product is also suitable for people with sensitive skin.

Repurchase? I'm already using another bottle!

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 2% Serum

This was one of the first products that I started using from The Ordinary and it's the first product that got me hooked on the brand. I first brought the product all the way back in September last year and it lasted me all the way to February this year, with this product a little goes a really long way and I only use it once a day in my evening skincare routine. This product was one of the products that has been one of the products that has helped to keep my skin spot-free and also it has been a key product at keeping my oily skin at bay. This serum is really lightweight and as soon as it's applied to the skin it soaks in instantly leaving my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I definitely credit this product for my skin looking the way it does at the moment.

Repurchase? Already got it!

MUA Pro Base Foundation

I have been obsessed with this foundation ever since first trying it, it is a foundation that fits my skin perfectly. The MUA Pro Base Foundation is a matte foundation that is medium to full coverage but it is buildable so if you want more coverage then you can always add more and it will still apply flawlessly. This is a foundation that I would use on a daily basis and I could still add a bit more product and it would be perfect for an evening look. Whenever I wear this foundation I know it's going to last me all day and still look good after hours of wearing it. I am someone who loves a matte look so this foundation is perfect for me but if your not a matte fan this might not be the product for you. Another big plus about this product is that it's super affordable at only £5!

Polaar Night Revitalising Cream

I have had this product in my collection for a while and have used it on and off. This night cream is a gorgeous rich cream that makes my skin feel totally amazing. I like to use this cream at times when my skin is feeling really dry, I apply this product to my skin right before going to bed and then when I wake up in the morning I feel like I have new skin. This cream helps to repair the skin while you sleep and when you wake up your skin should feel amazing because I know mine definitely did. The only downside about this cream is that it is pretty expensive and it's more than I usually spend on skincare products.

Repurchase? Im thinking about getting this cream again but I'm not sure just yet

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil

I have been using this brow pencil for years and when I first started using it I was obsessed with it but since trying other brands and different products I haven't reached for it as much but I still made sure to finish off this product. I did love this brow pencil because it would easily fill in my brows without too much effort but I did find that this pencil dried up quite quickly which is a little bit disappointing because of the price of this product. When this product did work properly it did give me lovely brows and made them look defined and put together but when it dried out it was a bit more difficult to get defined brows.

Repurchase? If this ever came in a Benefit gift set I would definitely use it again but I wouldn't repurchase it for myself

  1. Oh I just tried a Niacinamide serum recently! I was a little skeptical that it would clear my skin so well, but it has been a game changer so far. It really helps your skin stay clear. Great post, always love empties!

    1. The Benefit brow pencil is really good but when it gets dry it can be slightly difficult to use. The niacinamide serum from The Ordinary is really great, I’ve been loving it x

    1. It is a little pricey for a brow pencil! The same happened with my skin when I first started using this serum but once it gets used to it, the benefits have been great! X
