{Previously Gifted} The Inkey List has been a brand that I have been obsessed with for a couple of months now, They are a newer skincare brand that has been all over social media because of their quality products for affordable prices!  I've tried a few products from the brand and I have loved basically all of them but there has definitely been a few stand out products that are now apart of my everyday skincare routine. In todays post I'll be sharing my favourite products from the brand with you!

Salicylic Acid Cleanser

This is one of the products that I have used the longest from the brand, I first started using this cleanser around a year ago and have never looked back. I decided I wanted to start using this cleanser because I had read loads of positive reviews and it was described to be a perfect cleanser for my skin. This cleanser has a non drying formula in a lightly foaming cleanser that removes dirt and makeup while also helping to reduce blackheads and breakouts. I have been using this cleanser in the morning and evening for months and have had noticeable differences in my skin. I used to have the worst blackheads on my nose and chin and with using this cleanser for a while they have become a lot less visible, I still have blackheads on my nose but I don't seem to be getting any new ones and the ones i have are a lot less visible. Another thing I've noticed is that my skin is a lot less oily, I used to get oily on my T-Zone only a few hours after applying makeup but now I can go through a full day and my skin only needs to be blotted maybe once or twice, for me this is a great achievement because my oily skin was one of the main things I wanted to improve in my skin.

Tranexamic Acid Night Treatment

This product is a newer favourite of mine, last month The Inkey List very kindly sent me a few products to help with acne prone skin and this Tranexamic Acid Night Treatment was one of the products that I got. This product is an overnight gel that helps to target hyperpigmentation, dark spots and uneven patches on the skin. This gel also helps to brighten the skins complexion. I have been using this product as my night time moisturiser, this product is very different to what I've used before but so far I have been really impressed with this product. It can take up to 6 weeks for products to start making a real difference in the skin but one of the things that I have noticed is that when I wake up in the morning my skin looks a lot brighter and fresher. There is one thing about this product that I don't love about this product is the smell, I cant quite explain what it smells like but it definitely isn't my favourite, I've been using it for a while now so I've gotten used to it but if you like your skincare to smell lovely this might not be the product for you.

Niacinamide Serum

I have been a lover of Niacinamide for a while now, as soon as i used a product with Niacinamide I could see it had great benefits for my skin so when I saw that The Inkey List has their own Niacinamide Serum I had to try it. This serum has a light eight formula that contains 10% Niacinamide that effectively removes excess oil, blemishes and redness, this serum also contains 1% Hyaluronic Acid to help keep the skin hydrated. I use this serum in my nighttime skincare routine just before my moisturiser, when I apply this serum it soaks into my skin in seconds and leaves it feel really smooth and nourished. Niacinamide has been one of the best ingredients for my skin, it has really helped to reduce the oiliness in my skin and has kept the excess oil at bay. This will be a product that I continue to use because I am so impressed with the results that it is giving my skin already.

Succinic Acid Blemish Treatment

A few months ago my skin was having a real mare, it was playing up a lot and I was getting a lot of spots and I wanted to try a new spot cream and this one from The Inkey List was just released so I thought I would give this one a go. This treatment helps to clear blemishes fast, reduce inflammation and prevent clogged pores with this non drying formula. I have tried many different spot reams and treatments in the past and I have always hated how much they dried out my skin so this treatment being non drying is a big plus for me. As soon as I feel a spot coming I pop this treatment over it and a few hours later it has reduced in size and the redness has gone away like magic! The best time to use this product is on a new spot or blemish if you use it on a white head it doesn't help too much so the earlier the better. I also like to apply a small amount of this product on my blackheads before bed and this along with my Salicylic Acid cleanser has really helped to stop the forming of new blackheads and makes the ones I have less visible!

Caffeine Eye Cream

For the longest time I have wanted to add an eye cream to my routine but I never found one that I really got along with until now. This eye cream is a hydrating and lightweight eye cream that helps to remove the appearance of puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. I like to use this as my last step in my morning skincare routine and sometimes I apply this product just as I wake up if my eyes are pretty puffy that day. I have been using this eye cream for a couple of weeks now and I have noticed that the puffiness in my eyes in the mornings has improved a lot another thing that I really want from this cream is to reduce the dark circles under my eyes, I haven't been using it too long to test that out just yet but I am hopeful because it makes my eyes feel more awake and fresh after using it.

Pin For Later...

The Inkey list is probably one of my favourite brands at the moment, their products are affordable but are still amazing quality and I would recommend everyone to try out this brand because I'm so sure you will find a product that you love!

  5. I heard plenty of good things about them, but never had a chance to get them! That salicylic cleanser sounds amazing, I have issues with pores and black heads, so I must try it! The acid treatment and coffee eye cream sounds like a must add on on my list too x
