For the second instalment of my Top 3 series, I decided to go for Foundation. Foundation is a product that a lot of us use and if you are like me and are interested in other peoples favourite products then this post is for you. I have had many different favourite foundations before in the past but the three that I mention in today's post are all holy grails to me and they are products that I will always go back to. In today's post, I'll be sharing with your my Top 3 favourite foundations!

1. Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation

As soon as this foundation was released I snapped it up right away and was obsessed. I am a matte foundation kind of girl, I have combination skin leaning more on the oily side so I like my skin to look matte and this is the perfect foundation for that. While I like to look matte I definitely don't like to look cakey and this foundation definitely doesn't make me look cakey. There are loads of reasons why I love this foundation, one of them being the applicator, it's pretty different from any of the other foundations that I've used before because it has a large doe-foot which makes applying the foundation onto the skin really quick and easy and without any mess. If you are someone who does other peoples makeup it might not be best to use the doe-foot applicator but if it's just for just you it's perfect. Even though this foundation is matte it is very lightweight and buildable with a medium to full coverage finish. This foundation also has an amazing shade range of 50 different shades so there is definitely a shade out there for everyone!

2. Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know how obsessed I am with this foundation. I have been using this product on and off for years and it is still my favourite foundation that I've tried. If you are a person who loves a long-lasting matte foundation then this is 100% the foundation for you. This product is a little bit pricey but it is definitely worth it because this product is more on the pricey side I tend to save it for more special occasions or whenever I need it to last a long time like a night out. A little of this product goes a long way, you only need a small amount and it blends out perfectly over the face and neck without looking cakey. The only issue with this foundation is that it isn't best suited for people with very dry skin because it can show some texture on the face but if you moisturise and prime beforehand this foundation will look amazing on your skin!

3. Bali Body BB Cream

This product is very different from the other two foundations on this list and that's why I knew I had to add it. I love this product because whenever I'm not in the mood for a full coverage look and just want something natural that gives my skin medium coverage then this is the product that I go for. I usually don't like wearing base products that aren't matte but this product gives the skin a really subtle natural glow. This is the product that I reach for a lot when the weather is hotter and I don't want to wear anything too thick on my skin. This product is suitable for all skin types and looks great on everyone's skin. The only issue I have with this product is that they don't have as many shades as the other two foundations above and I actually need to use two shades mixed together for my perfect shade. What I do like about this product is that I sometimes mix it with my other foundations to add a bit of glow to my skin without looking oily.

    1. It’s such a lovely product especially for days when I just want a nice natural glow on my skin and the Estée Lauder double wear is the complete opposite and perfect for days when I need some full coverage x

  2. Ok Aaliyah, you definitely convinced me into trying Revolution's foundation. I think it's fantastic that the foundation by Revolution has 50 shades! It's great because the brand is making sure different shades and the various undertones of the skin have a foundation to match. I'm also interested in the Bali CC cream because my sensitive skin doesn't like heavy makeup and this sounds like a perfect solution on days when I want something light.
