Recently I have been obsessed with cream blush, I am a little behind on the trend but since I tried my first cream blush I have been in love. There are many things that I love about cream blush, one being that it gives the skin a lovely flush of colour but because it's a cream product it also adds some illumination to the skin. Since my obsession began I have tried quite a few cream blushes and now I have found my Top 4 favourites that I'll share with you today!

Revolution Superdewy Liquid Blush - Blush Me Up

This was the first liquid blush that I tried, I first tried it a few months after it became really popular on TikTok, I see all the hype and had to try it for myself. I have to say as soon as I tried it I was obsessed and understood what all the hype was about. This blush is really easy to use but it is ultra-pigmented which means that you only need a really small amount and then blend it out onto your skin using either a brush or a sponge to give the skin a gorgeous flush of colour because you only need such a small amount of this product each time it will last you ages! The shade I have is Blush Me Up which is a gorgeous warm cocoa shade which I think suits my skintone perfectly, it is quite dark so when I use this product I use the tiniest amount and blend it out with a stippling brush and it leaves the perfect amount of colour on the cheeks. This blush also has a dewy finish but even though I like to look matte it doesn't make me look oily or greasy it gives a gorgeous glow to the skin.

MUA Blushed Liquid Cream Blush - Dusky Rose

This blush is a newer addition to my collection, I came this browsing through Superdrug one day and the colour just spoke to me so I had to have it. At first, I thought the shade could have been a little too light for me but it was actually the perfect dusky pink shade with a mauvy undertone to it which compliments my skintone really well. This liquid blush is slightly different from the Revolution Superdewy blush because this one has a matte finish which I also really like using. This blush has a light formula to it which makes it really easy to blend out onto the skin and you can even use your hands but I prefer to blend this product out using a stippling brush. Another big plus about this cream blush is that it can also be used on the lips, I've tried this a few times and it actually works really well as a matte lipstick, this is a big plus for me because it's a multi-use product which I love!

LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush - Self Love

If you read my previous post you will know that I got this blush in a recent Cult Beauty haul and have been obsessed with it ever since. The gorgeous shade was the first thing that caught my eye and made me want to add it to my cart right away. The shade of this blush is a really pretty deep rose shade which I think could work with loads of different skin tones. This blush has a buildable formula meaning that you can apply a small amount to give just a light flush of colour onto the cheeks or you can build up a few layers to give you a deeper more pigmented blush look. I have used this blush a few times since getting it and have been obsessed with the way it looks on the skin, this blush is definitely a satin matte because it isn't really that dewy but it does give the skin a slight glow to it which I really enjoy. Trying out this blush and living it has made me want to try more from LYS Beauty!

Revolution Fast Base Blush Stick - Blush

After I tried the first liquid blush from Revolution and loved it I had to pick up another one from the brand. I wanted something slightly different and that is why I went for this blush stick. I had never used a product like this before and wanted to give it a try. There was a load of different shade options for this blush but I ended up going for the type of mauvy shades that I gravitate towards, this product is in the shade blush and it's a purple-brown shade which I thought was really interesting but still within my comfort zone. You can apply this blush to the face a few different ways, you can swipe the product itself onto the cheeks and then blend it out or you can use a brush directly onto the blush and then apply it onto the cheeks and that is how I like to apply it. Doing this technique helps the blush to apply not too pigmented but it still adds enough colour to the cheeks. This blush blends out really easily and makes the skin look dewy but not too shiny and gives the skin a nice luminosity, this is the perfect blush to take away on holiday and loved how it made my skin look even without foundation on, just the blush on its own makes the skin look amazing.
