If I was to choose between bronzer and blush I am 100% more of a blush girl! I know that's very controversial but I am. I don't feel like my makeup is complete without blush and my favourite shade to wear on myself is pink (obviously), out of all my other blush shades I definitely have more pink and it feels that it suits my skin tone the most. I was looking through my blushes and thought I would share with you my top 5 that I think you all need to try!

Revolution Reloaded Blush Lovestruck

I have talked about this blush so many times already on my blog but that is only because I love it and it deserves it! This blush is my favourite for many reasons, one being it is the perfect bright pink shade that isn't too neon and also it is super affordable. I love using blush and have so many in my collection but it is one of those products that I feel you don't need to spend a lot of money on to get a good quality brush and they are true for this product. Firstly I’m a sucker for packaging and I love the way that this blush is designed and the fact that it is product that isn't too soft or too chunky so it blends into the skin like a dream. The colour if this blush is my favourite part, it a a bright pink that has a slight mauvy tone to it which I think makes my skin look like one got gorgeous rosy cheeks which I love. I think this time of pink would suit people with lighter skin than mine but I also feel like it would look lovely in darker skin tones as well. Finding the perfect pink blush can be hard but I think I've found mine!

No7 Matte Powder Blush Damson Mist

I think this is the first time I’ve talked about a No7 blush before, it isn't a brand that I use a lot but I saw this blush on a trip to Boots and I had to have it. Because of my skin tone, I don't usually go for cool-toned colours but I really like the look of this blush and hadn't had anything else like it in my collection so I had to have it,  If you are someone with a cool undertone then I would definitely give this blush a try. If I was to describe this blush shade I would say that it is a bubble gum pink shade which might be a little too light for some skin tones but I like the way it makes my skin look. I don't wear this blush a lot because I think it only looks right with a certain makeup looks but whenever I have worn this blush one had compliments. This blush is very easy to apply and blends out beautifully but the only negative thing to say about this blush as it is very pigmented so when you apply it you only need a very small amount of product and you need to use a light hand apart from that I love this product.

MUA Blushed Liquid Cream Blush Dusky Rose

Over the last couple of months I have been obsessed with cream blush, I used to think it would make me look shiny and oily because I like to look matte but they don't, they give my skin a glow and also blush at he same time. Since then all I have been doing is buying new cream blushes and testing out different formulas and shades and I've now found a few favourites and my favourite pink cream blush is gnks one from MUA. This is a matte cream blush which I love, it blends out like a dream and even though it's matte kg still gives off a subtle glow to the skin. This pink is probably my favourite, it is a perfect dusky pink with a mauvy undertone. I would use this shade as more of an everyday blush because it still oacks a punch but it's subtle enough to wear at work and then because this product is buildable you can add more for more of a dramatic blush look. This is the type of product that I would take on holiday with me because of how versatile it is and even with a tan I think the shade would still suit my skin.

Makeup Obsessions Desert Liquid Blush Sienna Blush

Makeup Obsession is a new brand for me, I hadn't tried any of their products before trying this blush and spoiler alert I love it! I found this brand just by searching through the Revolution website and finding that Makeup Obsession is a brand under their umbrella. I always like trying out new products from different brands and it's even better when it turns out to be a product that I love. I think that this blush shade was made for me, it is a perfect pink that just suits my skin tone amazingly, this pink is a muted rose shade that isn't too bright but also isn't too dull, it's the perfect in-between shade. The formula of this blush is super buildable, you can apply a very small amount for just a flush of colour but if you want pigmentation on your cheeks then you can apply more ontop because its creamy formula it makes it super easy to reapply. This blush has more of a dewy finish to it which I didn't think that I would like but I actually like that it makes me look like I have highlighter in when it doesn't!

  1. These are lovely options for pink blush! I love the mixture of bronze and blush but I totally see why you'd choose blush! I've never tried a cream blusher though, so I'd love to give one a try x

  2. This was so interesting! I haven't thought about liquid blush in a while I think I should give it another go now that I am not 13 and would use it more sparingly :D. Thanks for sharing this was very informative! Good recommendations.
