September being my birthday month I was really excited to receive this months box and see what goodies are inside. So far having Birchbox since March I have discovered some really lovely products that I still use I even wrote a dedicated post for this, Birchbox Products I'm Still Using. There has been a few duds but overall I've been very impressed and can't wait to revive my new box every month.

Benefit Box O' Powder in Galifornia RRP £25.50

When I saw that a Benefit blush was in this box I was really excited, I have been loving benefit blushers for so long and haven't tried any new ones I such a long time. The colour of this blush is a beautiful pinky coral with a very slight shimmer. Even though I think the summer is over in the UK this blush just reminds me of the summer and it's a beautiful shade which I think would look great on a holiday. The formula of this blush is my favourite part it blends into the skin like a dream and has really great pigmentation. The pigmentation in this blush is actually slightly better than the other blushes that I've used from Benefit and of course with Benefit blushers they all have such an amazing smell.

Will I continue to use this product
Definitely I've had it on most days since I got it in my Birchbox!

When I first saw this product I was pretty sceptical, I've never really used anything like this before with it being a felt tip liquid Brow liner. When I swatched the product on my hand and it looked really transparent which I wasn't too sure about. I got the colour medium which is also a bit too light for me but I thought I would give it a go, I used this product to fill in the gaps in my eyebrow and it did work slightly but it just wasn't enough colour for me but when I used it to fill in the inner part of my eyebrow I did like the look that it gave me. I think this product is something to get used to as it's so different and I'm not too sure yet if I find it a gimmick.

Will I continue to use this product?
I will be trying this Brow liner out a few more times to see how I really feel about it and if it's worth the price tag

This product is something that I've been really wanting to try out for ages because of all the positive reviews but just never got round to actually trying it out until now. The little sample size was too cute (I think miniature things are so cute) and would be perfect for taking on holiday or travelling because of its small compact size. I love that this product is multi use and can be used on the face, body and hair. I've tried this product out on my arms and it gives such a pretty glow to the skin with a really nice shimmer, what I like about the shimmer is that it isn't too glittery and doesn't look too obvious that you have a shimmer product on. It's my birthday next week and I'm looking to use this product as a base for my makeup and also some on my arms to have that summer shimmer.

Will I continue to use this product
I will be using this product again to give me a really nice shimmer for a night ou

I haven't really used this product too much but what I have used of it I did really like it. The consistency is a little different that other moisturisers that I've used before as it's slightly thicker which I like because you feel like your skin is really getting added moisture. This moisturiser claims to protect the skin from the effects of pollution like dullness and dryness which I think it definitely does even by only using it a couple of times. I actually applied this product instead of a primer and it's actually a really nice makeup base as it smooths the skin and keeps the dry skin away. This product is cruelty free which is a major plus as I'm trying to have all cruelty free products in my routine.

Will I continue to use this product
I will be using this product again as mainly a makeup base as it worked so well for that

The first thing I did when I saw this product in my birchbox is check out the smell and I have to say that it smells amazing, it has a lovely rich mango smell which actually reminded me of a mango yoghurt I used to have as a child. I've only used this product once since getting my box. My hair felt really smooth and soft after washing it and it also had some soft of detangling action too it because it was much easier to brush my hair once I've washed it. This product is paraben, sulphate and silicone free which is great because I like to put products into my hair that keep my skin looking and feeling healthy. Once washed I then dried and straighten my hair it actually looked really shiny and was less frizzy than usual.

Will I continue to use this product
I will definitely still use this product as it's helped my hair stay really smooth

  6. I've never tried any of these products before but I love the sound of that moisturiser. I think my dry skin would love it. The brow product sounds a little strange, I don't get why they include products like that when the colours obviously aren't going to match everyone. The conditioner sounds lovely too. Sounds like a great box overall this month x

    1. It was a first for me too with the products in this box! The moisturiser is lovely perfect for the colder weather. I also don’t understand the colour selection for products because they are always too light for me! Xx
