{Ad - Previously Gifted} If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know how much I love The Inkey List, I would say 80% of my skincare routine is from the brand and their products have helped to transform my skin. Over the last year, I have tried a load of different products from the brand and have found some real gems that I think everybody needs to try out! In today's post I'll be sharing with you my Top 5 picks I think you all need to try.

1. Salicylic Acid Cleanser

This cleanser has been a part of my routine for around a year now and it is a product that I consistently use on a daily basis and have seen some amazing results from. This product is a non-drying foaming cleanser that is designed to remove makeup and dirt from the skin, this cleanser also penetrates deep into the pores helping to reduce breakouts and improve the appearance of blackheads. The main ingredient in this cleanser is salicylic acid which helps to loosen dead skin cells, clears clogged pores, reduces sebum and reduces inflammation and redness. Along with cleansing the skin this cleanser also has the added ingredient of Zinc and together with the salicylic acid they work to oil-control, reduce blackheads and promotes an evening looking texture to the skin. I love this cleanser because it effectively cleanses my skin without leaving it feeling tight or dry and leaving it feeling smooth. I have noticed since using this cleanser that my skin isn't as oily and stays shine-free all day. if you have oily or condensation skin then this is definitely the cleanser to try.

2. Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser

This cleanser is a newer part of my routine but it is a cleanser that I needed to add to this list because it is perfect for people with dry and dehydrated skin. This hyaluronic acid cleanser has been dermatologically tested with a deeply hydrating formula to leave the skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated. This cleanser has a lightly foaming formula that removes makeup and SPF and continues to hydrate the skin for up to 48 hours after using it! Along with Hyaluronic Acid, this cleanser contains 1% Inulin that helps to deeply hydrate the skin, supports a healthy skin barrier and helps to optimise the skin's pH levels. I have been using this cleanser in the morning for a few weeks now and I have been really impressed with the results it has given my skin. I have combination skin leaning more on the oily side but I do get dry areas on my skin like my cheeks and forehead and after using this cleanser my skin feels amazingly smooth and hydrated. This is definitely a cleanser that anyone with dehydrated skin needs to try!

3. Multi-Biotic

I have been obsessed with this moisturiser ever since I first reviewed it back in September last year! It's a product that was brand new to me and I was very kindly gifted it from The Inkey List to try out. Multi-Biotic is a lightweight moisturiser that is suitable for all skin types. This product is designed to help balance out the skin's natural pH levels and promotes a healthy complexion and protects against pollution. This moisturiser combines pro-biotics along with nutrients and by-products to help balance out the skin. When the pH in the skin is unbalanced it can show accelerated signs of ageing, irritation and excess oil. Using this moisturiser can also be beneficial to breakout-prone skin as well as dry and sensitive skin. When I was using this product I noticed some amazing benefits in my skin, I noticed after a few weeks that it wasn't as oily as it usually is and I also wasn't getting as many breakouts. One thing I would say about this product that you may not like is the smell, it has a weird smell at first but once you start using it you get used to it and the smell doesn't linger. This is a moisturiser that I think everyone needs to try whether you have oily or dry skin.

4. Niacinamide Serum

Niacinamide is the ingredient that transformed my skin, If you have read previous blog posts from me you will know how much I love Niacinamide so that is why I knew I had to add this serum to this list. This serum is a lightweight powerful serum that contains a high 10% Niacinamide that can be easily added to your skincare routine. This serum aims to help effectively reduce excess oil, blemishes and redness. In this serum, it also contains 1% Hyaluronic Acid which adds hydration to the skin. I have been using this serum for a few months now and I am truly obsessed with it. It is a lightweight serum with a thin formula meaning it soaks into the skin instantly and leaves it feeling smooth and fresh. After the first few weeks of using this serum, I noticed I wasn't getting as many breakouts and I wasn't nearly as oily as I was usually. Another reason why I love this product is that it is a really affordable product at only £6.99! It looks like it comes in a small bottle but this product spreads perfectly over the skin so you only need a small amount each time you use it.

5. Mandelic Acid Treatment

Out of all the products on my list the Mandelic Acid Treatment is a new product for me, I have been using it for the last few weeks now and so far so great! This product is a gentle yet powerful treatment that helps to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and helps to face acne spots and scars. This treatment has a lightweight formula that contains 10% Mandelic Acid and 0.1% retinol and also the added ingredient of glycerin that helps to target discolouration and dark spots. It does this by gently exfoliating the skin which encourages natural cell turnover whilst also hydrating the skin. One of the main concerns I have with my skin acne scarring, I have a lot around my cheeks and chin which didn't ever want to budge until I started using this treatment. I use this product around 3 times a week and apply it to the areas of concern and then apply my moisturiser on top and have noticed some amazing results. A lot of the scarring on my cheeks has started to improve and are a lot less noticeable! I would use this product every day but it's only a small tube so I know it won't last long, I do wish they did this product in a bigger size. If you are someone who suffers from acne scarring and can't find a way to improve it definitely check out this product!
