{Previously Gifted} Finally, in the UK, we have a date for the country to open up again and that will be the date that I finally go back to work. I probably haven't worn makeup for a whole day for around 3 months so I know that when I go back to work I'm going to want to make a little bit of an effort. In today's post, I'll be sharing with you my quick and easy back to work makeup look!

When I'm getting ready for work in the morning I give myself around 20-30 minutes to do my makeup, sometimes I want to go all out and do a full glam look but usually, I like to do a simple routine that quick and easy but still looks like I've put in some effort!

For my base, I didn't actually use any primer, after I've done my simple skincare routine and applied my moisturiser I use that as my base and that gives me a nice smooth canvas to work on. For foundation, I decided to go for a nice light natural looking product and that was the Bali Body BB Cream, I was very lucky to get gifted this product last year and since then I have been living the way it makes my skin look. It gives me such a gorgeous glowy finish without looking too oily, and this product has the added bonus of having SPF 15 so my skin stays protected. What I like most about this product is that when I'm wearing it feels so lightweight and skin-like so it's perfect for a busy day at work.

To conceal my face I decided to use a product that I haven't used in ages and it was TheBalm Time Balm, this product is perfect at concealing small areas like spots and dark patches in the skin. To apply this concealer I just used a flat brush and it was perfect at applying the product to smaller areas, this concealer also conceals really well without clinging to dry patches or texture. To conceal under my eyes I decided to use my favourite under-eye concealer which was the Revolution Fast Base Concealer, I love this concealer because it makes my under eyes look brighter without any creasing and it's only £3 what a bargain!!

After concealer, I needed to set my face to make sure that it would last a full day at work. One of my favourite setting powders at the minute is the MUA Translucent Powder which happens to be only £3. I use this powder to lightly dust over the skin to set everything even my under eyes. This powder is very finely milled so it doesn't look chalky or chunky when applied to the skin. For only £3 this powder does the job really well and it's something I think everyone should have in their makeup bags.

When I'm getting ready for work in the morning all I want is something quick and easy to throw on and be ready, that's why I decided to go for the Collection Blush & Glow palette, this has everything I need for a full face, bronzer, two blushes and a highlighter. This is one of my favourite face palettes because makes my routine so quick and easy which is perfect when getting ready for work. The shades in this palette are also great, they suit my skin tone really well and give the effect of a natural glow on the skin.

After I've finished my base I then move on to my eyebrows, When I'm getting ready in the morning I want to spend the least amount of time on my brows because they usually can take me around 15 minutes. To do a quick brow look all I do is just go through my brows with my Revolution Pro Define and Fill Brow Pencil and create hair-like strokes and this takes around 5 minutes and still creates a defined brow which I love.

Next, I move on to eye shadow, in a workweek, I usually wear eye shadow around 3 out of 5 days and I like to keep the look really simple. The palette I decided to use for this look was the I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Palette in Majestic, this palette is full of gorgeous neutral shades which are perfect for a back to work look. For my look, I used the two-deep brown matte shades in my crease and then also along my lower lash line. I then added the 6th shimmer shade along to my lid to add a little glam to the look without it being too over the top.

The next step for my back to work look wast that I added a bit of black liner in my waterline which I know nobody does anymore but I love the look, I use my Doucce Ultra Precision Eyeliner which I love because it applies super easily onto my eyes and has a really creamy formula. After liner I added some mascara, the mascara I decided to go for is the Benefit Bad Gal Bang which is my all-time favourite mascara. It gives my lashes the look of volume and length and a little bit of a curl and that's all I want for my mascara.

The last step in my makeup routine was to add some lipstick, at my job in the salon I do have to wear a mask but I still like to add a little bit of lipstick because why not. I decided to go for a lip crayon because they are easy to apply and the Natural Collection one in the shade Barely There that I used is really easy to apply and is pretty long-lasting. The shade is also a gorgeous neutral which works with any makeup look.
